A friend of mine started working at Sephora as I was diagnosed with breast cancer and recommended Talika Eyelash Lipocils. My chemo buddies are amazed that I still have eyelashes after 4 months of chemo. I should smear it on my eyebrows and hair...they are gone!

I love this product and it works for me. For the first 28 days you're suppose to apply it twice a day. After that for maintenance, you only have to apply it once a day. I'm still on my second week of application and I've already seen a difference; longer lashes and lashes growing where I usually didn't have lashes (like closer to the inner corners of my eye). I already started to notice differences within the first week and I thought I was imagining things because I thought it was too soon to see results, but I'm at a point where I'm definitely not imagining things now because of the dramatic difference. I wear mascara pretty much every day along with curling my eyelashes and using eyeliner/eyeshadow. I'm still using mascara while using Talika; I just let the Talika gel dry for several minutes before applying my mascara. It's great that way as a primer. I will definitely buy this product again and keep up with the daily regimen.

I bought Talika while on vacation back in January. So I used it a good month and half now. My goal was to combat my lashes from thinning with using mascara everyday. It has done exactly that. My lashes were starting to thin and now there full and healthy looking again. AS far as long thick lashes I'm not exactly sure yet. Would I like them longer and thicker yes. Do I want them healthy and all in place absoluetly! So, I am happy with my lashes not falling out and not thinning. I would say they have thicken some what. With continue use I'm sure it'll thicken even more. I reccommend this product.

The directions on Talika are to apply twice a day for 4 weeks then once a day everyday after that. At the end of the first four weeks, I noticed a little bit of a difference but it had been so gradual coming on that I couldn't really tell how much. I switched down to using it once a day, expecting that I'd just finish out the tube I bought and maybe not buy it again. But about 6 weeks in, I noticed that it was starting to look really different. I kept thinking I had mascara on when I didn't and when I actually put mascara on- WOW! I like Talika and I'm going to keep buying it but I thought I'd offer this advice: 1. Talika will never make your eyelashes look as thick as they do when you wear fake ones. It really just makes them about twice as good at the are right now- like you with mascara. If you are going for something more dramatic, you might make to consider getting fakes. 2. There are a few products that work like Talika- strengthening your lashes and keeping them from falling out so they're the best they can be. Some, like Ardell are a lot cheaper and do work, some like Revitalash are way more expensive but may work slighly better. I think Talika is a good balance and price and effect but other people might be looking for more effect or be unwilling to spend this much. 3. You have to use this basically forever. A tube lasts months and it takes a second a day to do it, but it's not a treatment that you do once or once a year. Missing a day or a week is no big deal but if you stop using it after about a month they go back to normal. If you're not prepared to incorporate it into your permanent beauty routine then you're only going to have a few months of good lashes. I'd encourage trying it out though, you might find you really like your new lashes and it's worth the trouble. No more difficult than applying mascara everyday and this way you look great when you get up in the morning before you do anything! Hope this helps.
