Even when used properly this product is dangerous for many breeds of dogs. Why risk it? Use positive humane training instead, you would be surprised how far it goes.

PEOPLE NEED TO FOCUS AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. LISTEN TO THE MAN AND STOP BLAMING THAT THE PRODUCT DOESNT WORK. A MAJORITY OF THE TIME ITS BECAUSE OF THE LEADER NOT THE DOG. PEOPLE ALSO HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT BREAKING HABITS DOESNT COME WITH THE PRODUCT. THANK YOU CESAR 40 DOLLARS IS WORTH THE MONEY$$$$$$$ SO STOP HATING ON HIM AND USE THE PRODUCT CORRECTLY. SLIGHTY PULL UP, PULL SIDE WAYS OR LEAD FOWARD. KEEP IN MIND B4 BUYING THE PRODUCT "U HAVE TO MEASURE THE BASE OF THE NECK BEFORE YOU BUY IT" IF NOT IT WILL SLIP AND HAVE PROBLEMS OF REJUSTING THE COLLAR

I am a faithful dog whisperer fan and I try to follow the instructions Cesar gives, but I was still having trouble walking my dog correctly. The biggest problem was that all the collars I tried did not stay up on his skinny, long neck. This is perfect! If you adjust it properly it will work. You can make a correction with very little effort. In fact, don't pull too tight because it is placed high on the neck as it should be, according to Cesar, and you will make an impact without force. To walk the dog properly you need a shorter leash so the set is nice. I'd have to spend money on a shorter leash anyway so for me, the set was a good deal!

With this Illusion collar, my airedale paid better attention to my commands, and she was easier to control. It didn't eliminate the pulling, but it made it much more manageable. I'm sure Caesar could walk her like a charm, but I'm not Caesar! It's worth the investment.

Well we have 3 dogs all who pull terribly. I bought 1 collar to try it out on 1 of our dogs before jumping into ordering 3. Well I loved it so much that ordered the other 2 the same day I tried the first collar. And let me tell you dog 1 is a cocker Spaniel, 1 a 60lb Mixed Breed, and a Husky(natual puller). All 3 dogs have made vast improvements. If I walk them 1 at a time I get better results but thats because I have to learn how to control one at a time first. I have however ever walked all 3 at once with these collars and it5 did make a huge difference(before I could have never walked all three). Follow the directions and take your time putting on the collar, it takes some practice but gets easier with every use.

I truly respect Cesar Millan, which is why I trusted his recommended collar. We just got a dog from the SPCA and we're trying to train him. He pulls me on the leash so I naturally bought Cesar's product even though it was $40. Honestly, I don't think the collar does what it is supposed to do. I don't think the directions on how to put the collar on are sufficient; therefore, I end up re-adjusting the collar as I am walking, unsure of whether the collar is on properly. I don't want the collar to be too tight obviously, but the collar does NOT stay in place in order for the concept of having the collar up high to work. Sorry, Cesar. This product is not ready for prime time, and $40 is too much.
