I purchased this item because of the good reviews and the bargain price. It heats up fast and works as advertised. But it's quite tough to straighten hair of medium length, especially around ear, because the plate size is too thick.

Amazing product-- I've tried using straighteners before, and it either took forever, or they were too difficult to use on my hair (which is very thick). This straightener feels substantial, but is still easy to use (the metal plates always somehow manage to lay flat against each other, straightening a lot of hair in each stroke), and my hair comes out stick-straight after just one stroke. It now takes 5 minutes in the morning to straighten my hair, and it's a heck of a lot easier than I ever believed it would be.

GREAT product- works perfectly, made with good quality, and will hardly put a dent in your wallet. Will recommend this to everyone I know!

Bought this for my wife and she liked it. Got it for a very good price from Amazon.

It's ok, but, like I said, its big and bulky. I'd rather a nice slim straightener.
Well, it does do the job...so if you like it, buy it.

Bought this because of the high reviews here on Amazon, but it pulls my hair so I am sending it back. Disappointed!!
