I've had this flat-iron for 4 years and have loved the results. Although it does not compare to the expensive professional iron's, like the sapphire or chi, it is perfect for daily use. I have wavy hair that frizzes easily, but this iron has tamed my hair for years. After 4 years, I've had to replace it with another one, but considering I use it daily (sometimes more than once), it's a great iron for the value.

My hair stylist (who I adore!) uses this straightener and I had to get it. Unfortunately my uncle was rushed to the hospital and I couldn't shower for over a week since I was always at the hospital (gross I know), but my hair looked like it was just straightened 7 days later! This is truly amazing. I can't recommend a better straightener.

As an African American woman with coarse hair, this was the first flat iron I've ever used to straighten it. This flat iron gets very hot, but I was unable to get very close to the roots and the ends of my hair were very frizzy after using it. I still had to use a hot comb to touch up these areas.

I have had this straightener for 2 years now. Before this I had the same product for another two years (which my mom now has and uses daily). It is a very dependable and sturdy straightener. I have long curly hair and my hair always comes out straight and silky after use. I have had previous straighters that costed more than $200 and they didn't do any justice. One of the best reasons I think this one lasts the longest is because the wire that comes out swivels. Many straighteners do not last long bc the wire gets bent and comes loose when you bend it. Since this one swivels the wire never has to bend. If you are looking for a cheaper great product, this is it!

This isn't a professional iron,but it does a good job for the price.I wish the iron was a bit longer and wider....but it does a good job.
