This review is geared more towards Black women. My experience with the Conair Infiniti Nano Silver is that it does not get hot enough so it doesnt make your hair very straight. Also, you have to do this every day or else your hair gets out of control. We (Black people) have varying grades of hair and my grade is naturally loose curls (no chemicals). My hair is actually fairly easy to do but this didnt work for me or someone else I had try it. I think that $150 is a lot to pay for something that doesnt work very well for me, especially when I can get the Gold n Hot brand for less and know that it will be hot enough and will last. Thats my experience. I returned it. I kind of think that maybe the one black model they had was wearing a weave. I shouldve known better when I only saw one model. Ive heard of companies having black models but they have weaves to make the results better to the eye. Im not saying thats what Conair has done but I should've used more discretion.

Well, that didn't last long. Three times and now it won't heat any longer. It's going back. Way to expensive for a Conair product. They should stick to their $29 blow dryers.

I have short,naturally curly hair that I have struggled with for years! Seems like most people with straight hair want curly and those with curly want straight! I received this product yesterday abd have used it yesterday and today - I cannot believe how straight my hair is! Makes me feel like a new and different person. No more frizz on those hot and humid days. I love it!

This is the first straightener I've ever used. I couldn't ask for much more. The steam brings the hair out soft. The iron doesn't pull on the hair very much at all, and virtually no hair is pulled out. If you have frizzy hair, you most likely will need to continue using frizz-free products. However, you can rest assured you won't need as much product(s) as before! I wouldn't take 10x the money back for the iron if I had to only use a blow dryer again.

I returned this item, because I was very disappointed...particularly for the price and the hype. The steam function was minimal and it's heavy compared to other hair straighteners.

I've had my eye on this product for quite some time and finally purchased it. It straightens my hair quickly and easily. The style holds until you wash your hair. I've received compliments on how straight and shiny my hair is(it looked professional). The water storage compartment opening is very small and difficult to fill. But, overall I really enjoy this product. It's heats quickly, straightens hair fast and the style holds.
