Joe Lieberman was the one VP candidate who could be counted on not to outshine the wooden Gore.  The bore and snore ticket.  It says something about Bush and Cheney that these guys actually carried the popular vote.

I have'nt spent alot of time on the elections lateley. I've been swamped in the air conditioning repair and replacement business in Los Angeles CA. Actually I've expanded my a/c & heating business to Los Angeles and Orange counties which have really kept me busy. I do believe however that we can count on Al Gores advice.

Al Gore didn't lose........

Gore didn't lose because of his vp choice. He lost because of his treatment of the electorate as if they are 3 year olds. Joe Lieberman is an honorable man and would be a much better president than Al Gore could ever hope to be.

Solid choice but it may have made the ticket seem too intellectual for some voters.
