The only reason I ever paid any attention to the Bangles at all was because of her. I tend to agree with FranksWildYears; I wouldn't describe her as smokin'-hot or scintillatingly sexy, but she had a low-key, dark beauty (or maybe "cuteness" is a better word) that grew on you, and she seemed like she would have been fun to hang out with too. I saw a free concert they gave at some point at Fairleigh Dickinson University with some friends-- the Bangles and some other band I have no memory at all of at this point. Truth be told, the only memory I have of the Bangles is Hoffs in her tight, summer dress, standing up there on the stage only yards away from me (no, I wasn't a stalker, but she was sure lookin' good up there). I think she took up with the singer Donovan's son, maybe even married him, and then sorta fell off the radar (along with the Bangles).

Yeah, I mostly liked the Bangles on account of her.
