It sounds unbelievable, but is it? I found a note that in Newfoundland Canada, Iceberg Vodka is made by melting icebergs and combining the water with grain alcohol made from Canadian wheat. In late spring and early summer, the bergs float south past Newfoundland naturally on the current, so most of the transportation from the arctic is done by nature. They go out in a boat, tow one in and melt it.
