 | bulldog83 (0) 02/28/2008 | Go Cards! I Love 'em. Through good times and the bad. Leads the NL in the most world Series wins, and second most in MLB history, they desreve a 5-star rating.

 | lapresi (0) 07/26/2007 | They were the champions last year, they are not supposed to be playing this bad.

 | ACLJ (3) 10/24/2006 | I cannot give a five-star here, because my favorite baseball team more than occasionally flub up the World Series. Most notably, the series of 2004 (did they even show up?) Yet, the Cards have had some of the best players ever to grace the diamond. Tony La Russa is one of MLB's greatest GMs for that matter.

 | BigDPlaya (1) 04/18/2006 | The Cardinals are one of the best sports franchises ever. They put the fans first. Players that are disrespectful of the fans, the team, or the game of baseball are jettisoned immediately. They new ownership has been fantastic delivering a competitive team year in and year out despite being a small market team. They've leveraged the good performance to create new revenue streams to keep the team competitive. The fans are knowledgeable (i.e. they don't think they are baseball gods because their team wins a World Series once every 100 years). When it comes to how the organization is run and how they treat the fans and community the Cardinals are second to none.

 | GenghisTheHun (168) 04/06/2006 | One of the top two or three organizations. The team is usually competitive and doesn't consistently disappoint its fans.
It's too bad that the Cardinals don't have a national tv station to carry the games. This team is much more likeable than most.

 | oscargamblesfro (76) 12/13/2005 | Great fans, very classy , knowledgeable, and gracious. Generally very successful: since the 20's, they've won more Series than any other N.L. club. I'm not sure how they'll do this coming season, as their offseason moves have been kinda strange. Storied club with some of baseball's greatest players over the years: Musial, Hornsby, Gibson, Dean, Ozzie Smith, Pujols, Frisch, Brock, etc.

 | mtbmlb (6) 09/11/2005 | Very rarely are they a bad team. I enjoy watching games between them and the Giants because both teams are always in the race. Should've won it last year.

 | dpostoskie (7) 05/26/2005 | Tony is a great manager, Griz is hitting strong (will he stay consistent)Pujols is a monster, the team can hit. Pitching wins, period. The best starting ERA is 3.50plus, even though they are in the top 5 NL overall.

 | Jar-Jar Binks (16) 04/07/2005 | They should win the division. They filled up a few holes in the offseason by adding Mark Mulder, David Eckstein and Mark Grudzielanek.

 | Titan87 (0) 02/28/2005 | Always been a cardinals fan. They got a great team coming back for 2005. Lets hope they can get back to the series and at least win a game

 | Skizero (13) 02/18/2005 | Lost a few key guys after the failed 2004 run, but still the strongest team in the NL Central, sadly.

 | Byrdiohead (1) 12/13/2004 | I said at the beginning of last baseball season that the Cardinals would be playing for the World Series come October. What do you know they were, but I never said they'd win.

 | Beelzebub (1) 11/30/2004 | The Cards were a solid team. I'm a Boston guy, not in name only. I'm glad the Sox won, but I thought the Cards would give them a run for the money. I guess it really is all about peaking at the right time.

 | MSM Hobbes (0) 10/22/2004 | Great rich history and great rabid fans make for interesting combination from spring to fall, every year. The team has much heart, most years, and now this year they are again playing smart, fundamental baseball; almost like the good fun days of Whitey-ball. Grew up w/ Lou Brock as one of my heroes. Always meet friends at the Stan the Man statue when going to the games. Now in the World Series, playing against my 2nd favorite team... Go Red... Birds!

 | Tom C (0) 07/08/2004 | Great ball team with a rich history, die hard fans from all over the midwest, and the home of Budweiser and the Arch...how could you not love the Cards.

 | ontheskids (0) 06/26/2004 | St Louis has always done more with their relatively small market than any other team in baseball. They have more world series titles than any other NL team, and have won 3 of 5 world series played against the Yankees. And the fans, we're the most loyal in the game (not that I'm biased or anything :)
And that's a winner! - the late great Jack Buck

 | glassfan (0) 06/14/2004 | A name more reflective of their city should be St. Louis Criminals.
Anyway, LaRussa is OVERRATED. When was the last time he ever won anything?
Their stadium is past its prime.
St. Louis is a dump.
GO REDS!

 | alty6905 (1) 08/17/2003 | Should have won it all in 2002 but it didn't help that Rolen went down in the Divisional Series. Have been tortured past two seasons with pitching injuries and should be this bad right now. Have two future mvps in Rolen and Pujols.

 | Moosekarloff (17) 06/04/2003 | They have adequate offense and enough arms to be competitive, but nothing really special here. Good manager and a positive spirit on the club, but not much better than .500 should be expected in 2003.

 | oodie (0) 05/02/2002 | being from a city in this teams division--they make me jealous. first, they play in an ashtray shaped stadium. second they're as on and off as any other team, and third they come from a relatively average city--yet their fans are mad for them!! never have a seen a city go after it's baseball team w/heart and support like St. Louis does for it's red birds. it's hard not to like them. and that includes the history. knowing that players such as Lou Brock, Stan Musial, Bob Gibson, Keith Hernandez, and Ozzie Smith have all worn a cardinal jersey just adds to their legend.

 | badmoth (0) 05/01/2002 | I'm a Redbird fan but they're top-heavy. The big league club has good talent. The minors are wasted. If they have injury problems this year, they're done.
