I normally don't post things like this on the internet but, THERMASILK WAS THEEE ONLYYY SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER THAT MAKES MY HAIR BEAUUUUTIFUL!!! I am SO SO UPSET that they no longer have this brand in the stores. Ya, I can buy a case of conditioner on the internet (no biggie to me since it's TOTALLLY worth it), but I can't find shampoo????

To simply state my EXTREME DISAPPOINTMENT: THIS SUCKS!!!!! ...and none of the recommended replacements even come close to the way my hair looked, smelled, and felt compared to THERMASILK! I have spent over the last year trying every different option...my hair looks like CRAP without THERMASILK! PLEASE COME BACK THERMASILK!! I AM EMAILING THE MANUFACTURERS...PLEASE DO THE SAME. Unilever we are NOT happy!!! ...even expensive salon shampoos and conditioners I have tried do not work at all...ONLY THERMASILK :(

I have used Thermasilk in the past because I usually have to blow dry my hair. So it works perfectly for that reason! It doesn't make my hair feel greasy like some products can when you leave them in wet hair.

I gave this 2 stars only because some people might like it because it is heat-actived. I don't really use heat-styling much other than blow drying once a week or so, therefore it's not useful to me. In addition, I have thick, full hair that tends to the oily end of the spectrum--Thermasilk products make my hair silky, but also extremely flat and greasy.

I had been using Thermasilk for years! I remember the old formula, which was my favorite. And then they changed the formula and it was still good. I am so upset that it is not out there anymore! I was upset when they changed the formula, but I learned to deal...but now it is so sad that I can't use it!

That's right, you heard me. For all of us nuts who have spent the last two years or so hating all other alternatives, the time has come.

It's the purple Sunsilk bottle, but they changed it to "heat activated shampoo" and added the Thermasilk logo to the front. I tried it this morning, and it is the real deal. Literally, my hair is SO HAPPY

My aunt is a hair dresser and she always tell me never to use products like this because they have stuff in them that you could wash your floor with and can harm your hair. I suggest asking your hair dresser before trying a new shampoo and it is their specialty. Some shampoos seem more expensive but you need less so they last longer. There are some inexpensive ones that won't harm your hair but I don't recall right now. I'm a Redken shampoo fanatic.

Has anyone been able to find Thermasilk? I don't know why Unilever would say that it's because the stores don't stock it when I've read other reviews saying that Sunsilk has taken Thermasilk's place. I emailed Unilever also to find out and also put their response to 66D in my email and questioned it. I NEED Thermasilk...I can't find any other product to do what Thermasilk did for my hair!

I am having an attack!!!!! I am soooo STRESSED OUT that Thermasilk hairspray is not being sold anymore!!!!!! I am lucky enough to have found really good deals on the internet and can buy a bunch @ a time but that's not good enough!!!!!!!! I need it to be sold EVERYWHERE!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!! I used the Thermasilk Moisturing Shampoo and Codnidioner for many years. I have not found a shampoo yet since they took it off the market that would make my thin wavy frizzy hair look and feel so clean and shiny after I blow dried it. I would sign a petition or do something to get it back where you can just buy it at the grocery store CVS or Walgreens instead of the internet and pay for shipping. The Sunsilk Anti Flat turned my hair into straw. Therefore, I will just stay away Thermashine. Thank you

Someone needs to start a website and petition to bring back Thermasilk. I loved the shampoo and conditioner and can manage with the newer "Sunsilk" versions, but it's the Volumizing MOUSSE I miss the most! My fine textured hair needs heat activated Thermasilk! I tried Tresemme's volumizing mousse and it's done nothing but dry out my hair.

I so wish the gods at thermasilk are reading these reviews. What were they thinking taking such a marvelous product off the market...and replacing it with Sunskilk Thermashine?!?!? I don't live in the U.S. but on each visit, have carried suitcase-fulls of Thermasilk or begged family members to bring it for me. I am not an obsessive customer, just one who knows an excellent product and is loyal to it for years. Pleeeeeaze bring it back!!!

This is a great product, the only one that has worked wonders on my multi-ethnic hair thus far! They have recently gone out of business and I am searching for a comparable alternative. Help, quick! I am now faced with hard to manage hair and numerous split ends!

I Love Thermasilk shampoo and the conditioner as well. I am outraged that it has been taken off the market. Thermasilk is the best hair product that i have ever found their is no equal. I have looked everywhere for Thermasilk shampoo and conditioner. After reading this site, I now know they took it off the market. What a crime! I have been using Thermasilk for years and it's the only product that makes my hair look and feel heallthy. I have tried Pantene, Garnier Fructis, and several others, and I don't like them. And Sunsilk is absolutely awful. Please bring Thermasilk back. My hair is a mess without it.

my hair is absoloutly rediculous ever since thermasilk became discontinued. every time i sed to get my hair colored or cut or someone would play with it they would tell me how healthy my hair was and since the day it was discontinued i haven't heard it once. i would be sooo happy if it was re-continued.

I am extremely upset to find out that Thermasilk is no longer being made. I've used this brand for over ten years. I have tried other shampoos off and on but nothing leaves my hair feeling as healthy or as soft. Even my hairstylists have commente how healthy my hair felt and looked. Every other product I have tried (including salon brands) have just left my hair feeling dry and my scalp itchy. When I continue use with these "other" products I usually just end up with bad dandruff. My suggestion to everyone is to go directly to the Unilever site and complain. Perhaps it will do something to push them to at least release a new brand that comes close to what Thermasilk does. In the meantime I'll be stocking up on more Thermasilk via eBay.

Wow, after reading all these laments about Thermasilk I realize how much I am REALLY going to miss it. I'm a white woman and my hair is shoulder length and naturally streaked white/grey/blond/brown. My friends always comment about my hair, how great it looks, and I love the way it feels. What the H happened?? Why would a company take a successful product out of the market?!?

I have used thermasilk for years now, since the first time i tried it. I used the one that amplified thin normal hair. For some reason i can't find thermasilk anywhere at any store. The thermasilk spray in conditioner was the only thing that kept my hair soft and shiny. Why was it taken off the shelves is there something wrong with it that we don't know about? I MISS MY THERMASILK!!!! I was a devoted customer to thermasilk. I blow dry my hair everyother day and use either a flat or curling iron everyday!!! Thermasilk was the only product that kept my hair healthy and shiny! I used it for Years and never encoutered a problem. Now I've been using Pantene Pro-V and it has ruined my hair! It tangles from the bottom, it is dry and is breaking!!!! When I used thermasilk I never had this problem! Can we write letters to the company or gather signatures or something? I NEED THERMASILK!!!

I can't believe it's true... Thermasilk discontinued. I know life is not fair but this is ridiculous! Please bring Thermasilk back. It was and is such a great product. Nothing else compares.

Thermasilk is the best product. I have used it forever. I had a very hard time finding something somewhat comparable. For anyone who is looking, try the Garnier fructice shampoo and conditioners by Loreal. They aren't bad at all. The only thing is they don't make a leave in conditioner spray. I don't know what I am going to do without it!!

Thermasilk was the best shampoo on the market. If I tried any others I always went back to Thermasilk. I have long, thick hair and wash it every day. It never dried my hair out. A true testiment of how popular it was is just by looking at the store shelves and taking notice of how much space was provided for the product in the stores. It was obvious it was the popular brand. I hope to see it return to the market in a big way. The Shampoo and Conditioner is definitely a 5 Star!

I want to know why you cannot buy Thermasilk shampoo and conditioner anywhere anymore? Why did they quit selling it in the first place? There are certain things you can buy generic brands of and things that you can't...my Thermasilk shampoo and conditioner was one of them..you definately got what you paid for..when is it gonna be put back on the shelves?!!! It was the only hair product that actuall kept the psoriasis on my scalp under control.

Works pretty well, but if you use a flat iron, watch out!! This stuff makes your hair hold in the heat from the iron. I've burned my fingers with my own hair a gazillion times.

The Thermasilk leave-in conditioner is the only product that has ever done a good job of protecting my hair from heat styling damage. Biosilk doesn't even come close. I went through hell to get my last bottle of Thermasilk on the airplane with me when I flew back to San Diego from the Bay Area. I actually had to go find a box to put it in to check it!! And now it's discontinued. For everyone who loved Thermasilk, there are still a few online shops where you can buy the remaining bottles that are left. Drugstore.com and BeautyBuys.com are a couple of them. Good luck! I'm getting a case of the leave-in conditioning spray.
