 | alexabee (0) 08/06/2008 | I recently picked up two huge 32 fl oz bottles of Tresemme Healthy Volume shampoo and conditioner (for 3.80 each) after using brands like Pantene, L'Oreal, & Nexxus. I didn't really expect much, just another shampoo and conditioner, but after using the products, the result was soft, shiny but not limp, bouncy, and healthy feeling that I actually noticed. Like many other people on here, I wouldn't usually care about rating shampoos, but the results were so nice, I had to. Maybe there are better products out there at salons, but this one comes very close, and the price cant be beat.

 | leilis1991 (0) 06/18/2008 | I really like this brand. I've tried Tresemme Anti Breakage conditioner and I love it. I still use it and I'm not planning to change. It leaves my hair softer and shinier, it has made a great change. Plus, the price is very good. I've also tried Vitamin C shampoo or something like that, it's for normal to oily hair, and I love it too. It leaves my hair clean but not too dry or tangled, like other brands do. Of course, I have oily hair, but if your hair isn't oily, this shampoo may be too much and leave it too dry. To sum up, I would certainly recommend both products.

 | aikibriarrose (0) 06/22/2007 | i like it because it is very affordable, important when finances are tight like mine, and doesn't give my hair alot of problems while keeping it clean and feeling good. doesn't weigh it down or overstrip it.

 | his (0) 11/03/2006 | I've been a licensed/registered cosmetologist of 10+ years and STILL prefer and recommend TRESEMME shampoos and conditioners over any other brand.
I love the clarifying shampoo-- it deep cleanses to remove excess oils and accumulated buildup from styling products better than any other I've used.
The TRESEMME conditioners provide detangling benefits, and leave my hair soft without weighing it down or making it look like I have a case of the greasies.
TRESEMME products work well, comes in big bottles, and all at a fraction of the cost of per ounce in comparison to any other brand. My entire family uses TRESEMME, and always will.

 | gkent (0) 06/21/2006 | I am 50 years old and I color my hair myself. My hair has never been healthier or shinier than it has since I switched from salon products to the Tresemme Hair Care line. I use all their products and I LOVE what they do for my hair and I also love the price!

 | Maeg7 (0) 03/22/2006 | I bought the 'Restore- conditioning leave-in creme' a couple days ago. HORRIBLE!!!!
GRRR, It smells really good- but it clearly states on the bottle that it: "Adds manageability without stickiness or heaviness" WRONG. all there was was stickiness and heaviness!! It felt and looked really gross, and I had to walk around feeling like I hadn't washed my hair in a month. I do not suggest it!! Very disappointing... =(

 | coolies (0) 07/18/2005 | Not impressed - end of story. I admit I was taken in by the advert (oh okay and the offer) well at least I didn't pay too much for the rubbish - that is one conselation! It reacted with my scalp, it was soo itchy - and saying that my skin/scalp isn't really that sensitive - it only reacts very occasionally. It didn't even improve my hair - not something I will be picking up again!

 | tritty (0) 07/01/2005 | if you have previously used supermarket products and then used tresemme and found that your hair has become straw-like, it's because cheaper shampoos have oil based silicones which build up on the hair. salon shampoos strip this off the hair in order to let nutrients get into the hair, then after using the salon shampoo for a little while, it should become soft. also, start using a treatment once a week....either a moisture treatment or moisture/protein combination for strengthening the hair.

 | CollegeGirl7 (0) 06/24/2004 | TRESemme didn't work too well on my hair. After using it, it made my hair feel dry and not very silky or bouncy. Maybe it's because I'm Asian and I have long medium-thick hair. Who knows... but it does smell kind of good.

 | kolby1973 (32) 02/15/2004 | TRESemme has a really foul smell, and both times I tried it, it left my hair feeling like straw. This product is put on a high pedestal, and I am one who will knock it right off. Complete garbage and a huge waste of money...

 | Weltanschauung (0) 12/27/2003 | I give it a 5, because it works - leaves my hair manageable, despite the damage done by a salon in Spokane, WA. It is very economical and I don't need to pick it up every shopping trip, because the bottle is huge.

 | danmuse (0) 06/28/2001 | I wouldn't really care about rating shampoos or conditioners at all, but I tried Tresemme shampoo and conditioner a few months ago and was so impressed, I actually wrote to tell the company. The fragrance is not overpowering, which is important to me. Best of all, the conditioner is absolutely the best at detangling hair that I've ever used. That gets big points from me. (long-haired guy)

 | deeski (0) 11/15/2000 | Very overrated. The name might be french, but the product is german. This mess is too soupy- it's like watered down, and doesn't help your hair at all. Thumbs down!
