Yodle has proven to be a successful advertising service for my law firm so far. I’ve been with them for about 7 months and every month I received excellent results. Though I don’t always have the time to go in and track my calls, I’m happy that my account managers and sales rep still check in with me on a regular basis to let me know how things are going and suggest ways that we can continue to improve the account. You don’t always get that with companies and so it’s definitely made me feel good about working with them. -- Stephen H.

This company is a scam, I would not be surprise if the ratings with the stars on them are not it's employees or execs, they will promise you the world before signup, they promise local ads, people I got to call me were way outside my area, There over priced and just rediculous, they give you a so called Marketing expert, she only contacts you when it's time to fund your account again, they are a joke, or worst a freaking scam

KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, I'T BULLCRAP

Mr. St. Pierre, I’m sorry you feel this way. At Yodle, we believe in doing everything we can to meet the client’s needs, but we also know that online advertising success is not guaranteed. On several occasions we tried to contact you to improve your experience and hear your thoughts, but when we called, you did not respond. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your account and understand your specific frustrations so that we may improve our service and offerings and maybe even find a solution that could work for you. Again, please call me at 212-542-5403 or send me an email at feedback@yodle.com, so we can do everything possible to try and make your campaign a success.

I’ve received a nice consistent amount of phone calls from Yodle. What is always great is that these new customers I generate from Yodle sometimes turn into repeat customers and can refer other people. When I signed up with Yodle, I wanted to be at the top of Google. With the huge list of keywords Yodle provides for my campaigns, I show up exactly where I wanted. I also love the tracking Yodle provides. Getting to listen to the phone calls helps me refine my phone tactics and has really been an invaluable added bonus.

Yodle.com is a complete rip-off.

First off, their "technical help" are totally incompetent. I have spent over $10,000 designing my landing pages over the past few years for my business. Meaning I have spent $10,000 on split tests. My pages converted like mad, 30-40% of people would call or email. They were too stupid to figure out how to split landing pages per groups of keywords. Absolutely ridiculous. They couldn't give me FTP access, nothing.

Second, they are WAAAAYYYYY overpriced. I have two years of data for my business. It costs me $1.43 per click, and roughly $4.46 per phone call/email. And I convert half of those calls, so it costs me about $9 per new customer. I spent over $1,000 with Yodle, want to know how many customers I got......

Wait for it......

Holding your breath.....

0. Flat out nada, zilch, no one. Nothing.

Their clicks were $3.84 each, and were NOT converting.

I would bet that most of the "positive reviews" are from Yodle employees, or people who have no idea what search marketing should cost.

I couldn't be more disappointed. Hope this saves one person from making a drastic mistake.

Yodle parades itself as consumer education, but you'd get better advice on just about any topic from a homeless guy sorting through your garbage. The site's devoid of any knowledgeable or useful content, and plays on dim-witted shoppers neediness for tips on things like plucking your eyebrows. The site's a giant and cynical scam.

I'm thankful I have Yodle during these economic times. Right now I generate about 40% of my new patients from Yodle's advertising services. My account manager has also been fabulous -- she is definitely on top of my campaign and constantly tweaking it to make sure I continue to generate excellent results.

We had done a lot of direct mail campaigns, vehicle wraps and some event promotions, but knew we had to really vamp up our site and get it out there for people to see. We decided Yodle would be the best company to do that for us. What I love most about them is that they not only optimized our website and placed it on the first page of the search engines, but that they can prove it to us. We can see every single call and email we receive from our marketing with Yodle, and so far these calls and emails turn into thousands of dollars in sales a month. I also like how we can see where these calls are coming from; it lets us know where we are targeting our advertising. - Go Forth Pest Control

I signed up for an internet marketing program with Yodle a few months ago, I was promised a lead generating site that would get '' Calls not Clicks " as there site claims. This can not be further from the truth, this is no more than another company with slick telemarketers who promise the world and don't deliver . As a business person I am sick of getting ripped off by companies like Yodle. I questioned there methods on how they would accomplish this compared to myown PPC and other marketing efforts and they insisted they had this special software and site that would entice the coustomer to call. The system is set up well and if you have tons of money to through at it then it will deliver results but make sure you have your own site that is well designed to capture leads first. There account managers are goos as well , the main problem is they are very missleading and in to much of a hurry to sign you up befors making sure you have a proper lead gen site and make you commit to 3 months at a min of $800. I did not recieve even one bonified lead or job in three months and told the upfrount that I didn't think my site was ready to launch. It was $2400 down the drain with O results. I have since discovered a way for small business to market themsleves in there area and dominate the front page of google for next to nothing.

I used another SEM company to advertise my tutoring business online and it was a disaster. Therefore, I was apprehensive to sign on with Yodle, however, so far the experience has been great. My account manager is not only responsive to my inquiries, but actually checks in on a regular basis to keep me up to date with my campaign. We're even getting leads right now and the school season hasn't even started!

My experience with Yodle so far has been great – my Account Manager, Marlo is responsive and innovative – and has had many great ideas about my account. When I make a change to my account she has it updated within hours and I start receiving calls within days. Yodle marketing helped me sell a $100K franchise – the Yodle service has more than paid for itself! - Robert Markowski, Jan-Pro Pittsburgh

I originally took a stab at running my own Google Adwords campaign, but eventually found that I was spending so much time changing bids, writing ad copy, and making campaign adjustments – all for relatively little results. I’ve since started using Yodle and have been quite satisfied with the results. I’d say that on average we’re closing about 50% of the leads that they send us. - Tom Kefalas, One Source Group - Lakewood, CA

We've been with Yodle for a few months, and it has quickly become one of our most productive forms of advertising. I'd also add that our account manager has been very responsive and attentive any time we have questions or issues. -Karen Bernard/ Massage Heights

Yodle has been better than any advertising company we've worked with at providing ongoing support with our website. Within our first month we've not only received calls, but quality leads of people who are looking for OUR services and not just shopping around.

I rate Yodle a one, this is a very misleading company with a slick grope of telemarketers who prey on small businesses who are already struggling in this bad economy and are searching for ways to get new business. WARNING Do not sign on for this.. There moto is calls not clicks, I got more clicks and calls for allot less doing my own PPC. Don't be fooled and don't commit to three months with these guys because you will be wasting valuable marketing capitol. I wasted $1600 AND GOT NOTHING but a couple of bs calls . They tell you they will build you some magical lead gen site that a 12 year old could do a better job with . All hype no results.

Yodle harassed me day after day by cold calling my small business telling me they were affiliated with Google and my business couldnt afford not to have an internet campaign that would bring me so much new business. Their bull sht sounded so good I gave my credit card # and the have charged me over 1500.00, built a cheap cookie cutter web site and I havent gotten (1) additional customer in over 90 days. These people run a " Boiler Room" of rip off artists. And they are not affiliated with Google. If you hear the name YODLE hand up or call the consumer protection dept of your state. Dont give them you bank info !

I signed my company up with Yodle at the beginning of the year and so far the impact on my company has been amazing. I've worked with many other companies and normally get about 5 calls a week from them. So far, Yodle has been able to get me about 2-3 calls a day. I don't even have to worry about my campaigns because I know they're on top of it. I probably bring in about $2-3k a week on average with what I'm getting from Yodle.

GIVING YODLE 1 STAR IS GENEROUS. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT, OVERPRICED,PROMISE YOU EVERYTHING AND DELIVER NOTHING. THOSE ARE THE GOOD POINTS. THE BAD POINTS ARE THEY DONT RETURN PHONE CALLS UNLESS THEY FEEL YOU MAY LEAVE THEM AND THE ACCOUNT MANAGERS SHOULD BE FIRST MANAGING A BURGER KING TO GET SOME REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE. IF YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY THESE ARE THE PEOPLE FOR YOU. IF YOU WANT ACTUAL RESULTS I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE.

Yodle is a huge scam. I filled out what I thought was an online quiry on their website that asked for my CC #. Biggest mistake. Two days later they charged my card and provided no service. I called the office in NY and complained. They said they had no record of charging my CC. The next day the charge was reversed. I informed them that I did not want to do business with their company and not to charge my card again. A month later they charged my card again. I had to cancel my card and file fraud chages against them. I am persuing charges with the NY Attorney General and exploring a lawsuit.

The absolute worst advertising decision I ever made. Unfortunately I signed a 3 month contract and the very minimum budget option you can choose is $500.00 a month with a $57 account management fee. So far I have spent over $900.00 for a total of 139 clicks and 4 contacts that resulted in no business leads. What a joke and a waste of money. I can't wait for my three months to end and I have already contacted Yodle and requested that my account be cancelled at the end of my contract. Go elsewhere if you are looking for results because they will promise the sky while delivering nothing in return, leaving you looking skyward while they take your money.

this company is operating fraudulently. They have a ad words authorized reseller google logo on thier homepage which should link to a site with google.com in the address bar this site verifys thier ad word qualified status. They have copied and pasted this image to thier site to give the illusion of being valid. Talk about shady!
