I purchased Kiss My Face's "fragrance-free" deodorant product, and upon first use discovered that *every single one* of the claims they make about this product is false. First and foremost, the claim that it is "fragrance-free" is simply laughable. This is by far the worst-smelling product I have ever purchased in my entire life. And it's an *aggressively* disgusting smell, one that not even perfume could conceal. Words like "decomposing" and "pungent" and "rot" come to mind-- it literally made me sick to my stomach for hours after first applying the deodorant. I've never been particularly sensitive to smells, so this was especially shocking to me.
Fortunately, their assertion that it "lasts all day" was also patently false, so after a few hours it had evaporated. However, since the other claims were also blatant lies-- "really works!", "neutralizes and eliminates odors!"-- this was small comfort, as I then had other things to worry about (the kind of things you're trying to mitigate when you spend money on a deodorant product). And when I got home later I found that, contrary to its promise to be "colorless," the product had left a disgusting, sticky, visible residue on my clothes.
On top of all this, it gave me some kind of mildly uncomfortable underarm rash, which, again, has never happened to me before.
Disgusting. Companies should not get away with producing products that are completely worthless, then selling them by lying through their teeth about every aspect of said products. Especially when this causes harm to the innocent consumers who purchase them.
