A decent deodorant/anti-perspirant but not in any way superior to its slightly cheaper, non-Platinum analogue. It lasts longer than a lot of other brands but still leaves white residue on your clothes. I would use this as a back-up.

In general, I am not a big fan of Secret's fragrances. They all have an underlying smell that screams "Secret." Now, it's not overwhelming or anything--just not my taste. Anyhow, I don't really think the "Platinum Protection" really does much more than regular Secret, but it does work!

Okay well I told my mom that I needed a really strong deodorant since I'm going to Marching band camp and would be taking 12 hr trips in the sun. Well I'm leaving tomorrow and right now I just tried on the secret platinum my mom got me and wow, I've got to say I'm impressed at how crappy this product is. So I put it on and okay it feels disgusting and slimey, so I sit in front of a fan for 10 mins and it still feels nasty and so then I sniff my armpits to see if they actually smell better...No luck there, in fact, the slimy crap seems to help the bad odar. So okay, I think I'm screwed, so i put on my solid deodorant.(which is usually awesome). I now still feel sticky and slimey. Now I just looked in my armpits and they're bright red soo. Well I think you did a pretty crappy job here secret. Thanks for ruining my $3.75.

I used SECRET PLATINUM INVISIBLE SOLID & Olay in the scent Velvet Powder. It smelled AMAZING all day long. That's the only good thing about it. For wetness protection it lasts through about half the day. It dried out my skin after a few applications. It clumped under my arms which was pretty ugly looking. It also stained and ruined most of my clothes which was the WORST part. Absolutely ruined. I also used the same name in the SOFT SOLID which I hated! It was so wet that if I dared to put my arms down it would soak through my clothes and made me feel wet and uncomfortable. And yes, it dried thickly and opaquely onto my clothes which is highly unattractive. However this didn't stain too badly.

THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. I switched from Dove to find out how completely ineffective this shit is... how'd it get on the market? For the first time since I can remember my armpits smell really bad. I'm running to the store right now to get back my Dove.

I thought id try this doederant as I had coupons, and Apart from the slimyness, this product seemed to work fine (not the best, but fine). However the old slogan "Strong enough for a man, but made for a woman" is so true, that the product discolored all of my t-shirts and blouses! These stains never left, and look like bleach and therefore ruined those shirts... also notice the lable on the front "Aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex... Is Avril Lavinge right in saying a slight odour is not worth the cancer caused by aluminum in these products? I guess thats up for you to decide, but all i know is i'll never use this product or any Proctor & Gamble product again.

I used the gel, it didn't work good at all. plus it made me feel wet and sticky when I first put it on.

This deodorant works amazingly. In fact, almost too good. Although I don't use it reguarly (I have OCD when it comes to hygiene and tend to use a variety of things), I do own it. What makes this product so amazing is the fact that I could apply this to my armpits and be good to go for the entire day. It's very strong in comparison to the regular deodorant. Some people may not like it because it's more on a gel wavelength and kind of combines with your original scent. Some women may complain about this. Some people will complain about the price and may believe that it isn't worth it, in comparison to the original, however; I believe this product would work for anyone who suffers from extreme perspiration or is just looking for a strong, quality deodorant that they can apply and be good to go for the rest of the day. It's not as good as the new Clinical, so I do think it may retire from the shelves. I was impressed with this product and would use it again, but must admit I don't use it often.

By the middle of the day I had pit stains and the perfume of the deodorant was warn off. Not a good investment.

It really dried out my skin with just one click. I got alot of flaking skin and not just on my arm pit but under my arm near my breast and on my arm about where the pit of my arm is. this deodorant is very strong, i mean it did it's job but alittle too well. The kind of secret platinum I had was the new sparkle vanilla scented clear gel

I bought secret platinum soft solid deoderant and i wish i NEVER did! Picture this.. melt ur deoderant that u have now, and smother it all under ur pits. its disgusting! as soon as i put it on, i want to dab it off with a paper towel or just OFF in general. its so disgusting. and im not usually one to sweat alot, but as soon as i put it on, my pits are sweaty as hell! its like putting vaseline under ur arms.. or wrapping up ur skin in saran wrap, it suffocates it and makes it sweaty! and i'll tell you what, when i lift my arms,ya get a nice wiff!! its not only the joyous smell of the deoderant it ENHANCES ur body's natural lovely aroma. delicious. if i wanted to smell bad and be sticky and slimy and sweaty.. i would have went to a dumpster in a foriegn country. I hate this deoderant and it needs to be off the shelves.. i hate it. and if u use this crap.. ur sick

i am so pissed! i bought this secrect platinum for work and used it and it bleached my shirt. completely bleached a dark red shirt to white. like i had splased pure bleach on my self!!! am i the only one that had this problem?

leaves a funny "unslick" feeling on my skin when showering; is this stuff clogging up pores? no problem yet with "mix with my sweat," but standing by! bought it for the no-white-stuff claim; not yet ready to try it with my "little black dress"!

I bought the Moonlit Rose scented version of this deodorant, and I must say absolutely LOVE the smell of this deodorant... until I put it on. It's SO true that when the perfume mixes with your sweat, it creates a PUTRID smell. I'm so glad I found this site and discovered that I'm not the only one! I've NEVER had a problem with underarm odor OR perspiration, so I really just wanted a deodorant that would give me a nice smell since I don't usually wear perfume. Man, was I wrong. My armpits smell better WITHOUT it, because at least that way they have NO smell. I'm about to head to the store now in search of a better deodorant.

I purchased Secret yesterday in preparation for a pool party I was going to today; I've tried several different anti-perspirants, without luck (Dove crumbled apart and left white marks, and Lady Speed Stick left me a little wet under the arms). Hoping to alleviate both problems, I tried Secret. So, here I am, morning of my pool party, and my underarms are twice as wet as when using other anti-perspirants. Two stars because the smell is indeed overpowering, and it didn't leave white marks- the least of Secret's problems.

I have been using Secret Platinum for over a year - it really works for me most of the time. Once in a while I'll have a day like some others said where it mixes with my sweat & really doesn't smell good - don't know if my body is doing weird things on those days or what. Others are also right when they say it's not really clear - it comes off on my shirts when I put them on or take them off. Overall it's works ok for me.

This is definately not what I thought it would be...the first day it worked, and that was about it. Since then, I've had a tad less sweating, but that's about it. When I read from others that the smell mixed with your own I didn't really believe it, but it's true!!!! It's such a strong smell, and since it mixed in with my own horrific scent, it created such a HORRIBLE smell, and at that point I just stopped caring whether or not I was sweating. DON'T USE THIS PRODUCT! it is not as good as they like to advertise it...

I have used this product since it first came onto the market and I always had good results. Recently though it has been actually taking the color out of my clothing. It has ruined 3 t-shirts so far, one of which was brand new. I plan to write to the company so they can put a warning on their label.

Secret Platinum seemed the most appealing when I was picking out deodorant, and the version I picked out, Lavender Splash, smelled really nice. The first day it worked well, yet after a few days not only did the smell become strangely mixed with the smell of my sweat to make a DISGUSTING scent that I could barely stand, but when I put it on it would be really sticky and wet, not drying for many minutes. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Thank You God. That is all I have to write, well there is more. I sweat alot and when I wear deodorants it mixes together and OHHHHH my goodness it stinks. I will tell you that. I thought I was crazy. Like no one else experience this awefull disgusting smell. I complained to my friend and she said to use secret plantinum protection. The first day i used it I was on top of the world let me tell you. Every second i was smelling under my arms smiling because i did not stink and was not sweating. This was great. Until two weeks later. I noticed that the secret was mixing with my sweat instead of elimintaing. It was like a bad conspiracy angainst me. I wasd hurt and disappointed. I am so ahappy others have had this experience. I no longer feel wierd. My parents have been telling me there is somehting wrong in my head. I am seriously not crazy just aware when I do not smell good. Well the quest continues for a better deodirant. So for any misspelling just excited.

I bought SECRET SPARKLE COLLECTION in Peach Shimmer and Berry Sparkle and they definitely DID NOT work. The deodorant smelled nice for a little while but the peach and berry mingling with sweat is terrible. I tried it on a workout day and a regular work day. Basically the result would have been better if I didn't use the stuff at all. If I could give it a 0 rating and NO stars I would!!

I have been using Secret Platinum since it first came out and will continue to do so. I use the Powder Fresh and simply love it. I feel fresh and always ready to go no matter what I wear or the occasion. Thank you Secret!

This stuff is not clear! Its pure false advertisement, it always comes of on my clothes and it SHOWS

I have fair, sensitive skin, and I have trouble getting this deoderant off even after exfoliating/shaving. It's powerful, but the trade off isn't worth it.

The first day I used this product I thought great I found one that works. But by the second day the smell was way to over-powering. Anytime I moved my arms it was all I could smell and was making me sick. It smells way to strong and feels sticky. Then later in the day the scent of the deodorant and your body smell mix together and smell even worse!!!yuk!!!!

I used to have to apply deoderant about 9 times a day to keep dry. With this I apply it once in the morning and it lasts all day and through the night. Spring Breeze and Ambition smell the best!

Overall, definitely not one of my favorite products. In terms of preventing perspiration, it works alright. In my experience it was rather messy and I got a LOT of white residue. The scent is a bit overpowering, but I suppose that's better than smelling like BO. It was a little irritating, and I don't have particulary sensitive skin, so I would steer clear of this stuff if you DO have sensitive skin. Not worth buying for the price.

I went with the mystic rain scented version of this. Mystic rain, sounds good, right? UGH, it smells more like some sort of chemical waste and is one of the most powerful scents I have ever come accross. I didn't use it for very long, only a few days until the stink got to me, but from what I could tell, it didn't live up to its anti-perspirant title.

Normally, I like Secret products, but recently I bought this Platinum Protection stuff in the clear formula with a Peach scent (and a glittery label). I thought that peach seemed like a good way to smell. WOW, was I wrong!!!!! It smelled so overpowering and terrible. I put in on, got dressed, and when my husband saw me ten minutes later, he asked why I smelled so strongly. By that time, I had a headache, clogged sinuses, and the scent was really getting to me. I ended up WASHING OFF the dumb stuff! Some deoderant this turned out to be. I guess I'll stick with the other Secret stuff I've come to trust!

After reading opinions on this deodorant, I thought I would give it a try. I found that it was much LESS effective on perspiration than others I have used in the past...

TERRIBLE! it kept me dry, but boy did i smell! It does not keep oder away! I never will buy this again

keeps you dry but does not wash off, gives a rash after being in the sun.

Fantastic. You can skip a day and still be dry and stink-free. Its the only deodorant that has ever worked for me.

This works wonderfully on odor but does nothing for wetness protection at all.

this is the best deodorant ive tried. Its the only one that keeps me dry. However it leaves white residue, so id opt for the new clear gel version.

Secret Platinum is a wonderful deodorant and anti-perspirant that has never let me down. I love the new scents, and the protection is great, even when wearing silk or fancy dresses. Excellent product and the best deodorant ever!

This stuff is very effective, but it takes forever to dry, leaving one with undesirable white stuff on one's shirts. It's the worst when you are wearing a dark colored tank top. You have to walk around with your arms sticking out so it can dry. It's not really worth looking that stupid, I don't think.

Love it! My husband and I both use it. We discovered it while living in South Florida - short of showering every hour, it's the only thing that kept us from being stinky in the S.FL heat.

This is the best deodorant on the market. I recommend "Spring Breeze." It seems to work better for me than any other one (anti perspirant) for some odd reason. It is a great deodorant I would suggest trying.

I like the coverage, and can skip a day if needed. No problem with buildup on skip. Rolls on silky.

I currently use it because it does the job. Prevents most perspiration. Prevents odor. The different smells of the product line are good and each is different for different user's preferences.

I've used Secret for about three years and it leaves you dry. And it does not leave white residue under your arms to get on your clothing, so others can see your deodorant.

This stuff works really good, especially when I'm playing tennis and stuff, but if I keep the same stick of deodorant for a long time, it starts not to work anymore, I don't know why. Like I don't smell bad, but I get sweat stains. I can put perfume on, but I can't carry a blowdryer around.

This did not provide the protection that the product claims, pour on odor control and dryness control. It does have a variety of scents to choose from, which is good.

This is about the only one I have found that works for me, despite other Secret products not being so great. It keeps you drier than other kinds and most importantly, you don't stink! I recommend the powder scent because it is lighter than most other baby-scented products and smells nicer than the regular.

Since I do sweat so much, my test of a deodorants effectiveness is the wetness it prevents. Of all the deodorants, I would say this works the best for dryness. For odor prevention, it works really well too.

This deodorant is alright. Since it is a cream solid it doesn't last very long. If you don't store it upright some of it seeps up to the top of the cap. It works alright, but if I were to go out after work or something I would need to re-apply.
