 | crazydaisy (0) 07/29/2008 | I just bought this a week ago and so far so good. There is a slight stickiness after application as well as tingling but no white residue and no aluminum is the trade off. I do have to reapply during the day but no biggy, it actually feels fresh and clean when I do. My only concern is using something natural and with that there are pros and cons.

 | Clarissa (2) 07/24/2008 | Didn't like the scent at all (Honeysuckle Rose), didn't prevent/cover up odor, and it was sticky. Yuck! However, I use Tom's of Maine toothpaste : )
Origins No Offense deodorant is much better (smells great, not sticky, no residue, really works at preventing odor). I'm so happy to have come across this product!

 | Fryslyn (0) 11/26/2007 | I tried the Lavender version, and I liked it quite well for about 3 days- smelled nice, worked well in November all day for a non strenuous job. And THEN! The burning 3-5 minutes post application, sheets of skin rolling off my armpits, redness of the variety that leads rapidly to open sores. For my very sensitive skinned sisters...avoid Avoid AVOID. (bummer!)

 | Caridada (1) 04/29/2007 | It doesn't work and makes my arnpits feel weird. They're liers it's not
all "natural" and I got myself an ordinary ladies speedstick that is
much better for me.

 | coCAYNE (0) 04/08/2004 | This deodorant makes your armpits sticky, does not help with odor, and dries out easily. One of my friends' swears by it, but she is not active at all and rarely sweats. As long as you're going to be moving around and not taking taxis everywhere, I suggest purchasing a different deodorant, maybe a deodorant and antiperspirant.

 | Kennit (0) 07/03/2003 | This is the only deodorant I've ever found to work for me. Ever. I love the way the Unscented smells. It's just a great product overall.

 | dmatlock (0) 05/18/2003 | Not only doesn't it work - but I tried it because it ORIGINALLY didn't have any aluminum and touted itself that way (terribly toxic) and now they've added it, so all was for naught! AVOID - anything with the word-part ALUM in the ingredients ANYWHERE has aluminum in it. Sneaky, some of these are. Especially this one.

 | snidebride (0) 04/08/2003 | This product is a joke. It makes your pits sticky and you will STINK in less time than if you used nothing at all.

 | khakiqueen (0) 07/01/2002 | This product made me smell worse. A coworker
of mine said the same thing. Now should I pay for that?
Bring on the aluminum. By the way, the aluminum-cancer
link is a bit of a myth.

 | sakuz (0) 01/02/2002 | I use the unscented version. It doesn't work well in really hot weather and also needs to be reapplied after periods of heavy exercise but it's still the best aluminum-free deodorant on the market.

 | College Lady (0) 01/30/2001 | This deodorant is somewhat effective in preventing foul smelling prespiration. However, it is sticky feeling. This is not how I want my deodorant to feel.

 | Jayner (0) 01/15/2001 | I use all of Tom's products. They work. They smell good, or don't smell if you choose unscented. Tom's claims to use natural ingredients. Anytime I can prevent chemicals in my life I do so! God bless Tom!

 | Sydney (0) 01/08/2001 | This deodorant is just ambiguous. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The smell is woodsy.

 | Lark (0) 01/02/2001 | I've been using the Honeysuckle and Rose natural deodorant lately and it seems to be working just fine. The reason I gave it a 4 is that over the summer, it didn't seem to be strong enough for really hot humid weather. But, now I am totally satisfied with it. I apreciate that it doesn't have chemicals (aluminum) which has been known to cause cancer.

 | Soleil603 (0) 12/14/2000 | Tom's of Maine is great! It is only a deodorant and not an anti-perspirant, but if you have read the news lately, you know that anti-perspirants can lead to breast cancer. Because Tom's of Maine is all natural, it smells fresh but not perfumy. Best of all, it hs no dyes to leave yellow marks on your t-shirts.

 | leez (0) 12/11/2000 | Tom's uses all natural products and tells you where they came from. This deodorant is perfect for the "healthy" person. It contains no aluminum which can cause cancer. It is effective in covering up body odor and comes in non-scented or an herbal variety.

 | CaveatEmptor (0) 09/15/2000 | It's pretty good, the problem is it's not as strong as the stuff with the Aluminum (which we try to avoid.) I wish they had a stronger version with baking soda, or something.
