Dunkin' Donuts 4

As I am having more early days at work, I believe its time to rate this product. . .

Cheaper than chic coffee places and usually a solid bet. It's a great morning treat and I must admit liking this stuff. . .and it makes me king of the office area until 9:29.

Though now reffered to as a coffee chain they are originally known for, of course, their donuts. They make incredibly good donuts and should be recognized as so. Since the release of their coffee on the market, people seem to forget why they are really famous, Donuts!

The flatbread sandwiches are very good. So are the hash browns.

The donuts are very, very tasty, but the muffins are terrible!!

I would give it 5 stars, but whenever I go I tend to find that service is spotty and employees get confused easily while taking and preparing orders (the person that takes your order is the person who makes it, and someone else rings it in and gives it to you.)

Also they don't have a soda fountain...you have to buy bottled beverages seperately.

Overall, they are a good place to stop for a snack, and the prices are quite reasonable.

If you grew up in Massachusetts, or New England generally, Dunkin Donuts was probably a part of your childhood. Then it became national kinda recently, throwing itself up as the everyman's Starbucks (eff that burnt ruckus anyhow), and now John Goodman does voiceovers on their commercials. I kinda liked the idea of DD as a regional institution, but really, I'm all for the expansion too. (You're welcome, rest of America.)

Also, A+ for the Boston Creme donuts, but word to the wise, ask for it out of the bag, because as soon as they put it in the bag, you lose half the frosting in it. Take it like a man, full chocolate or nothin.

I'm not saying the place is perfect. The lines can be long and the coffee can be painfully weak, but in general, Dunkin Donuts is a corporation that I can stand behind and feel real affection for.

The coffee is better than average, but worse than it used to be. The baked goods are tolerable. The quality has suffered because of their rapid expansion.

I'm in love with Dunkin Donuts coffee, but the last two places I've lived don't have a franchise presence. The packaged stuff just isn't the same.

Growing up in Boston I didn't ever really know a life without a Dunkin' Donuts close by. After age 16, with the advent of our 24/7 culture, I could also look forward to coffee at 2am after gigs. In retrospect, I think I know why I'm a total caffeine addict now...thanks guys!
