I have a Nomad Jukebox 2. It has great audio quality, storage (10 gig), and the menus and interfaces are pretty easy to use. The thing is bulky and heavy, battery life could be better, and there's a 2 gig limit on data file size. The main problem with it has nothing to do with the player, the software from Creative is crap. It is practically bullet proof, so it's great for things like snowboarding. Overall, I'm glad I got it. However it's a couple years old and newer players like the iPod and the Creative Zen series make it pretty much obsolete, fortunately it can be used as an external hard drive.

I own the Nomad Jukebox, a CD-player-sized unit with a 6-gig hard drive in it. It's awesome that I can store as many as 150 CDs on a single player! While it is expensive (approx. $400), consider this: you can easily pay $200 for an MP3 player that holds at best a couple hours of music. I have NEVER understood why someone would spend $150-$300 for a walkman that played an hour of music! But for twice the price, the Nomad Jukebox gives you hundreds of times the capacity. Well worth it! It's also sturdy; I've dropped it a couple times and it works fine. <p> Two gripes: the PlayCenter Jukebox software they provide for your PC could be a little more sophisticated, and I wish they didn't lock up a third of the player with free music that you can't transfer off it (you can delete it though).

Reading several reviews of MP3 players, this one seems to offer features that appeal to me. The huge memory enables a lot of songs.

I recently purchased the Nomad II MP3 Player and have tremendous success with it. It is easy to use and skip free. Downloading from computer to player and vice versa is no problem at all and doesn't take very long. It also requires only one AA battery and lasts a long time.

This MP3 is an average one. It has its problems playing music. It is not very easy to use and has a lot of kinks in it. I personally would not reommend it.

This MP3 does a pretty good job of playing MP3's. The bundled software is good, but the looks of the player could be improved. The music quality is good.

Sound quality is great, however menu selection and memory are not. The weight is nice, but what it has in weight it lacks in strength.

If you like music, the Nomad speaks for itself. It's very compact, and the sound quality is like a CD. This device is clearly one of the best on the market.

Creative does create something new, but if compared to Sony's one it seems Sony is more advanced in designing the fashion product. Creative Nomad is good for its quality of sound, but is not worth it when compared to the price.

The skin sucks. The design is unreadable. But, the quality of sound is good.

Great player. Supports many kinds of audio compression. The memory size is great. The ability to upgrade the memory is a plus.

Best MP3 player ever. However it still sucks since you can't have more than an hour of music. Radio feature is nice.

Granted, the Nomad was the first generation of Nomad players, but they could've made it more affordable. I enjoyed using it but the parallel port connectivity made for slow transfers. It is great to take music on the road though. It's a wonderful way to liven up an exercise regimen or long train commute.

It needs more RAM, like all similar technology.

I've owned two Nomads. The first Nomad I had problems with and returned it for a second one. It wouldn't connect to the computer. The second one worked fine, but when the Nomad II came out, I had to have it. It's sleek, comes with a radio, voice recorder, and has a docking station. The best MP3 player out there.

Excellent equipment. I love the capabilities. The MP3 allows me to download many different types of music for free. I love it!

-coming out second (wasn't the first to make MP3) and copying someone elses idea is easy. Keep up the good work.
