Watunes service is great. Their customer service is cool! We've started to see progress on our stores being on the VIP service.

They still have a little bit to go before being completely 5 stars. They still need a friendly user site to track payments, logs, stores, etc. We moved from 3 stars to 4! Looks like Watunes is getting ready for bigger things :)

They still lack on things like getting weekly trending reports. (They don't send it unless you "ask" for it).

Also, we believe they support more rap / r&b artists because that's all we see being "featured" on itunes through watunes.

Good luck for actual bands.

We are in the process of moving all of our distribution over to WaTunes, we are already signed up to VIP and cant wait for the new features coming in the fall.

We have found the site easy to use, and the free distribution to iTunes is great. We've used other distributors in the past and it has cost a fortune to set up. With WaTunes the cost of getting your tracks distributed just disappeared.

Their CEO Kevin Rivers is really helpful, it's not often that you get such great personal service from a company. We have had terrible experiences with pretty much all the other distributors, customer service for us is number one on our list. Every service will experience problems and difficulties at some stage, but it's how you are treated as a customer when things dont go to plan that makes the dfference. I can say that Watunes excels on this, their support is fast, friendly and they really look at things from the artist perspective when you are dealing with them.

Absolutely stay away from it!
The administration is a joke, they are totally confused about who is who, it seems that only one-man stands behind this company (probably not, but it seems...).
The processing of EVERYTHING is slow and untrustable (!).
The user interface on the site (when you are a member) is also a joke.

Maybe wt is good for a "relatively" known artist (because wt can't offer for themself to tricking/cheating/don't care about a known artist), but NOT for a totally unknown, independent musican.

And one more thing. What do you think, what do you get for free?? Hah?

Watunes - free distribution!! Changing the game.
I do recommend upgrading to VIP.

The WaTunes product uber fantastico. I still can not believe we will have our music on iTunes as independent artists without a major distribution deal. We are already planning our next release through WaTunes as well.
Above all else, I think the customer support has to be the best of any digital distributor by far. Real humans responding promptly to your questions with relevant answers. Who woulda' thought?

You guys are awesome..I use to use Audio Oddysey but they let me down by not paying me any of anything at all and I hope to now use you guys for my music on iTunes..Going to support you guys in everyway..How do I set up my payment details by the way? Thanks

You guys are GREAT! I love how your service is so simple to use. You guys also do it all for FREE!! Literally with now gimmicks or hidden information! I will surely be uploading another record with outstanding service. Unfortunately, it takes about 4-6 week for a standard unsigned artist to be on all the music stores, it's most surely worth the wait. There were a few minor problems with my status, I emailed you guys and you responded within a couple minutes to about a couple hours with is CRAZY fast for me! keep up the good work guys here at watunes!

P.S.- I love how you give the option to actually sell you music on radio stations and myspace music for a very convenient price, it's totally optional too!!!

Very quick service, my release was on ShockHound in a matter of just under a week, excellent, also help via email is quick and very helpful, full marks!
