This has to be one of the worst experiences i have ever had. First my cab ride was awful, and when i called to make a formal complaint, i was treated very badly by one of their managers, Jesse Lira, if you ever have to call to make a complaint i implore you to speak to anyone else, but this man. I couldn't belive the sarcastim and unwillingness to help me, i almost felt like i was the one who was the problem, and not the driver. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Desert Cab Company serves the locals okay, unless you want a cab from the grocery store or for a short ride that doesn't go to the strip, then they are just as bad as the rest. Their phone people are trained to screen out the short rides and the dispatchers tell cabbies which rides seem better before they assign the call. So, if you are a local who needs a long ride to the airport or the strip, Desert Cab is the fastest and best and will give you priority.

If you are not going to the airport or the strip, and your ride is not a long one, call Henderson. They are the only company that will eventually make a cabbie come get you. The other companies forget about you after awhile. The cabbie may not be happy to get you, and the cabbie may be new and not very good, but you will get a cab.

Remember that cabbies are straight commission, and they get paid nothing for the time they drive empty to get you. They would be making more if they just stayed on the strip and got one ride after another.
