This color of mascara has been discontinued by Estee Lauder about a year ago. The mascara was great, when purchased new. I knew better than to purchase it, knowing it was old stock, but took a chance because I loved this color and brand of mascara. Sure enough, it was kind of dried up, just due to being old stock. My bad, for knowingly purchasing old stock and Estee Lauder's bad for discontinuing such a beautiful product!

Product seemed dry and clumpy. It is not as good as it use to be. However, I still will continue to wear the color navy, as it is so much softer than black.

I'm a fan of the blue based black that Estee Lauder uses to make this mascara. My eyes are grey and a lot of black mascara doesn't match appropriately, it looks a little odd and even with a lot on often my eyes look smaller (the tone of it tends to emphasise the cream of my skin, hence pulling that in). That being said I never would have picked this up without getting a sample, because it is blue, but when it goes on you can't tell it's blue-it just works a little bit better than my other black mascaras. It does clump, so if your picky about that this might not be the one for you, and it's not waterproof, but the tone is so nice I really don't care about any of that.

This is the only mascara marketed to be blue that actually LOOKS blue on if you have dark lashes. Most other brands (if they come in blue) are navy blue, and it just looks like something dark once applied. This product is a very nice compliment to a tiny touch of blue eyeshadow on the corners of my eyes when I am wearing something blue. Nothing teeny-bopper looking here - just pure elegance with a bit of a kick.

If you want sexy, gorgeous eyelashes, with a blue tint, this is the one to buy. I love it, and I only wear this brand now. You will look beautiful!
