This mascara doesn't really work for my eyelashes. Instead, I use it for my eyebrows. I ran out and bought a cheaper drug store brand and it works about the same.

It seems like my brick and mortar Sephoras are always out of this product. You'd think they'd stock more based on demand. As other posters have mentioned, this is great for when you don't want the added coloring on your lashes as well as a great brow shaper. I mainly use it for the latter.

However, it should be said that it's also a great "indicator" for when you should be throwing out your makeup. Over time, bacteria contaminate and grow on and in all make-up. With this clear mascara, you can easily visibly notice when it starts to go cloudy. This is happening in regular mascara and other make-up, just you can't see it as easily as clear mascara. So when your clear mascara starts to go bad, you should probably be throwing out other make-up as well.

A few years back, a gal who worked at Sephora told me to use this product to "set" my eyebrows after applying brow pencil. Applying this clear mascara to the brow kept the brow pencil from smudging if I inadvertantly touched it. It works great!!! I have tried other products when I have run out, and had poor results. Some even cost more $$

Hmmm.....clear mascara, wasn't that a fad in the eighties? I was almost sure that this was the case, as I hadn't heard of clear mascara in such a long time. But, I am a girl with long eyelashes and colored mascara tends to make me look as though I was wearing false lashes, so when I saw that Sephora had come out with a clear mascara, I immediately made my purchase. Honestly, I love this stuff, it adds a clear sheen to the lashes, but does not coat with color and make them look goopy, as an added bonus...you will never get raccoon eyes again! All in all, I highly recommend this product.

Pros:
1. Cheap
2. No raccoon eyes
3. Subtle sheen for girls with extremely long natural lashes
4. No clumps

Cons:
1. Not really the best for sensitive eyes or contact wearers
2. Small tube
3. Might be a little too subtle for those of you with scrawny lashes
4. Smells kind of funky
