Yikes - they are good and well named - sweet and crisp. But the term juicy should have been worked in the title, too. If you lay one down after a bite or two, the juice will run out and onto your table. I never had a better Fall apple, but they sure don't give them away. In my area of Upstate New York, they sell for roughly a dollar each at the grocery store, that is, if you can find them. The price is the only reason I didn't give it five stars. Of course, like most produce, they're priced by the pound and since Honeycrisp are considerably larger than an average apple, I have no problem with paying the buck. Pre-bagged Honeycrisps are available at lower prices, but I like to choose my own rather than accept the grocer's assortment.Another nice feature is the fact that they don't brown quickly while you're working on one. This is especially nice for slow eaters like myself. Love the Honeycrisp.kozmo18

Honeycrisp apples have a great texture with a good crunch when you bite into them. The flavor is a bit tart, but not as strong as a granny smith. I've been eating a lot of these lately, and I really love them.
