I have been using this dish detergent for years and LOVE it. You use so little but yet it cleans much better then all the name brand chemical detergents. I use all eco friendly products in my home, Bio Kleen has a ton of wonderful products. Both automatic and hand dish soap, Bac Out, Soy Toilet Cleaner, All Purpose.. etc.

This ultra concentrated biodegradable dishwashing powder really works. It has a pleasant citrus sent as well. Not much to say other than it really does work. I use 2 teaspoons full per drawer in my drawer style dishwasher. I don't know if that would be enough for a standard dishwasher but I wouldn't think you would need much more. A 2 lb tub lasts about 5-6 mos for a family of two. We do entertain a couple of times a month as well. I think it is better than cascade or other "brand" names I have tried and its better for the environment. No little granuals left undesolved on the dishes.

I find this powder works great in my dishwasher. You have to be sure not to use too much powder, or else it WILL leave a film on all of your dishes. You only need ONE tablespoon (1/2 tablespoon in each of the two cups)! Apparently the film can also happen if you have very soft water as well, so you'll need to use less powder. I've never had this problem, but I don't think I have soft water.

i find with many eco-friendly products, many times you sacrifice cleaning power for peace of mind. don't get me wrong, i don't mind the little extra elbow grease for that, but this is for AUTOMATIC dish washers. i have used a few brands, including 7th generation and method, but found this to work the best. the smell is nice (citrus/orange) and not overpowering. it cleans and dissolves well in my 3 years young energy star dishwasher. the tubs are compact/easy to store and last a long time. i don't think any detergent or dishwasher will make up for leaving dried food residue on the dishes, but for general washing without the chemicals, this stuff works just great! i only wish amazon still sold it in a 12 pack.

My wife and I have started phasing non biodegradable items out of our house. We tried this product after looking at the reviews and determined it didn't work for our needs. It cleans well but leaves a white residue on the dishes. Our hunt for a dishwashing detergent continues....
