I'd have to agree with zuchinibut as it is supposed to be the song itself but not how it is sung.

Not to spoil the list though, I have heard of this already and boy, that ruined my life. Roseanne will never make a song when she practically desecrated the anthem of the USA. Even one episode of the old kids show Tiny Toon Adventures, showing her singing again makes me cringe. From there, Fifi the Skunk did say, "It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings." Well, for Roseanne, her career is over due to this!
If she goes to Canada to sing their anthem at the Olympics, and I attend, I'd run!

I believe that it's more disrespectful than horrible.

Just another lame performance by yet another no-talent who the suits in the entertainment industry decided to shove down the collective throats of the cretins who make up most of the U.S. population.  And actually, that dreadful song should be retired already and replaced with something more positive and singable, like "America The Beautiful," or "This Land is Your Land," or even "If Six Were Nine."

I missed it on TV but from what I read and heard...well, don't waste your time reading or hearing about it.

This is incorrectly labeled. The Star Spangled Banner isn't a bad song, but Roseane's rendition was a painfully bad performance. The list needs to do a better job of differentiating between the version of the song and the actual song.

Pretty bad, but I've heard much worse versions.  Try Ozzy Osbourne.

Never ask a comedian to sing "The Star Spangled Banner". You pretty much get what you ask for.

Jimi Hendrix's version is better.
