With past experiences in Buildings in Financial district, this building doesn't have the professional office area look. You pretty much feel like you are in a mall when you walk just outside this building. Even though with complaints on the Heat and maintenance, this building has lot of space. With the price this is the best fit for Startups. Never had this much space for a corridor, you have a big kitchen and lot of space to walk around. The bike parking is pretty good here, they have a separate rack outside and surprisingly no one steals from this spot. Since you dont have any taller buildings near by you have an excellent view.

2601 Mission Street is one of the tallest buildings in the Mission, and all the office spaces sport huge windows with a great view of the Bay Bridge. Lease rates are quite reasonable, and you can also get really cheap parking with the lease (~$100/month), which is a nice bonus for anyone who needs to drive to work. From my research, that price is practically unheard of here in San Francisco. There are a few persistent issues like climate control, but management is generally attentive and tries to make things right as quickly as possible. For the price, you can't really beat office space in this building.

I was a little apprehensive moving in, but this building has worked out great. It has awesome views, cheap monthly parking, security / janitorial, and the rent is super cheap.Update: I still like the access to Bart and the neighborhood, but the building is old and getting older. The heater only seems to work on hot days, for example. No hot water in the bathrooms.
