Heck NO!

I am sure this one is a painful as the rest on his "record album" surely most people bought this as a joke gift. maybe the die hard William Shatner fans. I have read he has quite an ego at least during the Star Trek days so he probably really thought he had a hit record. so far the top three most painful songs have been his. Give the guy an award. ha!

Just because he was Captain Kirk on Star Trek doesn't mean he is the Rocket Man, not does it give him artistic license to skewer yet another classic. Again, another *ahem* "brilliant" performance by William Shatner.

I hear this stuff from Shatner and I'm torn between thinking that either he's having fun with the greatest in joke in music history, or that he gets in a studio with his buddies, a case of tequila and some magic mushrooms, pipes in the the Agincourt speech from Henry V, and flies at it.

This guy's hubris and cheessiness simply knows no bounds. Recites/ sings this good though overplayed song as if he was King Lear.
