I really don't understand why people have to argue over differences of opinions. People have a right to believe the way they want to believe without facing persecution from someone else. And politics and religion seem to be the biggest issues that people deal with. It's not worth getting upset over. Let people have their opinions, plain and simple. It's not always important to have the last word.

Most of the time, I try to answer comments made to my reviews, but there are those who I will ignore when I can sense that there's a fight brewing. I won't argue with people.

it can be difficult. depends on the person. I agree that certain subjects like politics and religion can get arguments going. i have dealt with certain relatives over the years who would go balistic if you DARED to disagree with her. I tend to be careful of who I will talk about cetain subjects with. like who I am voting for.  or what issues i believe in. some people cannot take it if you do not share the same opinion as them and they get downright nasty and insulting is you feel a different way. I would not avoid that person all together but I would be careful of subjects I would talk about with them.I feel they are entitled to their opinion as I am with mine.I am not willing to get in a shouting with them or let them tear me apart.

If two people disagree on one thing, I believe it's possible for the same two people to try to be at peace with one another.  Perhaps even find a common bond on another subject.

But let's face it.  We're all going to disagree on one point or another.  Well, so what?  It just means we're all different from one another.  That's not altogether a bad thing, is it?

Find your common ground and drink a bit if that option is available. That Eddie ringleader (Chris something?) and I had good exchange about Star Wars and even LM and I made peace. Anything is possible, kids.

Not that difficult,  provided both parties have some brains and some level of tolerance.  I have all kinds of acquaintances who radically disagree with me on some topics, and we get along fine.

I guess it can be but we should always be open to other peoples viewpoints but never to the point of compromising your values.
