I started introducing Viviti to my students as a blogging system since Feb 2009. Honestly, till now I never experience a down site in my class and it grows up like a baby with more features and themes. However, some of my students are so forgetful. They encountered a "deactivated" site but the Viviti team is very responsive and the issues got fixed in a couple of days (Remember that the services are free of charge! Thanks Jerrett and the team!). Keep going, add more Web 2.0 features and play hard some time!

I discovered viviti on the bravehost site and thought I'd give it a try as a possible alternative to my existing bravehost site. I couldn't believe how much easier it is to use than bravehost. I created a site name and found a decent template to use and in a matter of hours I had a fully functioning web site. My main gripe tho is it doesn't edit under IE6. A shame really as the later versions of IE just slow my computer down and take more headspace than I like to give up. I've used Firefox and Opera before so was familiar with the pages feature which I admit is great but as I rarely have mre than one page open ata atime its not something I use much. Anyway back to viviti, my remaining curiosity is how my site will look once they add the ads, addon ads that add additional adformation. Hopefully they won't detract from my masterful masterpiece that is my latest Jetpack site. If you want to check it out its www.jetpack.viviti.com

I saw a demo of Viviti yesterday and it's pretty neat. It's a drag and drop website builder for the non-programmer that allows you to pull in modules from third party services like Google and Upcoming, or embed your own widgets. You can choose from existing designs, or build your own. There are a lot of competing services out there right now - Weebly, Google Page Creator, etc. - but Viviti seems exceptionally easy to use.
