I love it!!! Warm and soothing. Smell is a little strong but hey if you are hurting who cares what you smell like. Working in the yard I get lots of aches glad to find relief.

I used it for the first time last night. I have a really sore back from some over-exertion. It was wonderful. The cool sensation followed by the hot sensation was interesting. (how do they do that?) It made my pain go away so that I got a good night's sleep. The pain is back this morning. I would have put more on but I didn't want to smell like menthol at work. I love it.

this stuff has many uses,1 being keeping cats out of the fireplace, just put some on the metal screen and they wont go near it. and yes you have to wash your hands right after, especially if you decide to use the bathroom right after.(p.s.THAT SUCKED)and if you want to keep cats out of a room you can put some on your finger and run it on the wall, about up to a foot high and then on the carpet, you just work it in to the carpet, it only works because they hate the smell, its not harmfull to them, unless of course they for some reason they begin to eat it, then you wet the carpet and run the vacum over it a few times.

I love this product and have used it so much in the past that it isn't so effective anymore. BUT if you're not an IcyHot over-user :) it is fantastic for rubbing out knots and soothing tendonitis. The cold/hot sensations can be intense, but that's the best part. The only real concern with this product is that you must IMMEDIATELY wash your hands very thoroughly after application. It WILL sink into the skin on your hands and having IcyHot where you don't have pain is really really annoying.

This will definitely give you a good deep-heating massage, but who in the world can stand the smell of this stuff long enough for it to work?

Icy Hot may not be one of the first choices on your list if you are in pain. It works for about 30 seconds straight, but starts to ware down, and either the heat or the cold goes away only after about 5 minutes. It may help the pain, or it may not.

I love this stuff! Put it on at night and it really seems to just disolve the cramps and stiff spots in my shoulders by morning. The first time I used it was on my legs after exercising and I used WAY too much. After about 15 minutes I thought I was going to fly through the ceiling! So, if you've never used it before - be warned and remember go light, go light!

This product has never really worked for me. I can feel the cold at the beginning, then the heat, but it never actually relieves pain. No matter how often or seldom I use it the results are always about the same. That is, not much happens. I think using actual ice or heat works much better.

Gets nice and warm. The heat helps relax muscles. Good for after workouts. You will smell like peppermint LifeSavers.

Icy Hot sometimes works. I gave it a three because it can be relieving but not for a long time. It's more like Vick's than anything.

When you first open it, it smells like peppermint, but when you apply it it burns. As it goes in to where you hurt it does not really cool off.

Works great. You can actually feel pain relief. I don't like the smell.

Icy Hot works but the thing I don't like is that it burns when it is hot. I would like the least amount of pain as possible.

After I play rough at my sport, I want to relax, and only Icy Hot hits the spot. I like it because it feels and smells good.

This is very relieving for sore muscles. Its hot and cool sensation helps out a lot when it comes to soreness and muscle pains disappear for a while.

Icy Hot gives you fast results that you can acutally feel it working and tingling.

Icy Hot works pretty well for me. It works much better than Bengay. It relieves faster and more effectively. It doesn't smell good though.

I used this after an injury to my shins. It is so soothing. When you apply (it smells funny, like really strong peppermint medicine) you just glide it on (I have the stick version) and it gets all hot and then right when it is too hot, the cooling effect comes into play. The cool part is the best. It is all tingly.

Creams have been proven to not even penetrate the skin. Therefore any relief from them would be from the actual motion of massaging them in. The benefits are from the massage, not the creams.
