The NFL needs to expand into an international league and Mexico makes the most sence. Enlgand is good but the travel would be difficult. Canada would be fine too but I don't know if the attendance would be there. I would assume canadians that like the NFL already have teams that are in the northern states. Mexico would be the best choice. They've proven the intrest is there with their attendance in previous games. The weather in Mexico is more of what you want too, england and canada are so cold. So Mexico should be the next city to get a team right after LA gets a team back.

The NFL is very interested in marketing itself internationally...remember the Dolphins-Giants game played in London in 2007. Mexico City would make sense for an international city to place a franchise because of its geographic location. It wouldn't be too far of a flight for NFL teams. NFL games that have been played in Mexico City have had attendance figures of over 100,000, so there would definitely be some interest. However, the question is whether the NFL should award a team to an area that doesn't really "know" football. It appears that Mexican fans are intrigued by NFL football, but would there be enough die-hards to support the team if the franchise found itself in a situation like the Lions or Cardinals? I think Mexicans would take a ton of pride in having their own team and would support them. However, I think the NFL is very unlikely to expand and the only chance of a new city finding a team if through relocation. There are too many cities in the US that the NFL would probably place a team before heading south of the border.
