As the voice of the unrelentingly annoying Disney version of Winnie the Pooh he should be rated a 1 or 2 stars for contributing to the most lame, innocuous children's entertainment franchise in history, way worse than Barney. However Holloway had a solid career as a character actor that easily overshadows his contribution to what amounts to only a handful of productions on his resume. He was also a journeyman voice actor on the Disney lot, contributing featured in Dumbo, Bambi, Alice in Wonderland, the Aristocats and my favourite, the hypnotic python in Jungle Book.

Sterling Holloway provided the voice of Winnie-The-Pooh. He also guest starred on an episode of The Andy Griffith Show as a salesman named Burt. When he provided the voice of Winnie-The-Pooh, he made millions of children happy. Sadly, he died on November 22, 1992. He was eighty-seven. Because he made children happy, I'm giving him a 5 star rating.
