Great car I have a 1991 non turbo base model and they very nice cars get alot compliments and very peppy. Always wanted one and I dont regret it now that I have one. If you want one of these I high recommend getting one just make sure you join one of the car clubs to help you out like 3si.org and make sure take to dealer for repairs. To many idiots dont know what there doing on our cars.

Even the non-turbo version of the 3000GT is an awesome car to drive. Nowhere near the VR-4, however there's just something about the look of this bad boy that just makes you go, "Wow, that's a sweet car!"

the best of japan its here and if u havent driving one you have missed the ride of your life the gto(3000gt in u.s.) is among the top 10 sports cars in acceleration and the fastest sports car in japan. also try the gto mr version its even faster than the gto vr4

Personally, I drove a Dodge Stealth which is the same car with a Dodge label. It is truly one of the most aethetically pleasing sports cars within the reach of the average consumer. It also handled mountain roads beautifully and had an amazing stock soundsystem with a multidisc changer. The drawback were a terribly unrelaible automtic transmission (the manual has a better track record) and it the (relatively small engine and horsepower. It did have pretty good low end torq

The 3000gt in VR4 trim (the most expensive model) is a sweet ride. Its fast, comfortable, and handles well. Unfortunately, its way too expensive for what it is. A new Z28 is far less expensive and offers superior performance. The two base engine 3000gts are not worth buying. At 170hp and 222hp they don't move the heavyweight, EXPENSIVE 3000. If you want a Mitsubishi sports car, I'd reccomend a twin turbo Eclipse. They are cheaper and for less money can be modified to give better performance than the 3000.
