I happened to be a proud owner the 89 turbo probe it I think is best year of all! I have owned this car for 4 yrs only broke down once it has 169k on the original engine and it just keeps on going and going not shabby at all for a stock 4 cyl

The 89-92 models were the best with the four-cylendar turbo engine option. It is very well at handling and cornering due to the variable suspension control available. It is also really quick with a 2.2L turbo. It will definetly put you in your seat. It is a very good car to have and very fun to drive! (The`92 is by far the best probe made.)

I saw a car of this kind in a really cool color of purple, and that's the way I'd want it. Otherwise, it's just ordinary.

A car with good performance for the money, but plagued with problems. Not a reliable, trustworthy machine. TONS of problems.

these are what mechanics call "throwaways"...good car for so many miles, then better throwaway or start spending big bucks to maintain...
