Great possession reciever, running precise routes with great hands and possessed of decent speed.  Not a flashy guy, but took a blue-collar approach to a flamboyant position.

Ironically, for a flashy position, I think workmanlike Largent really is the best.

He showed up every Sunday, making plays and scoring TD's at times when the Seahawks would have made a bad CFL team. He had Girl Scouts throwing to him, no offensive line, no running game, no other good receivers to support him and he still produced.

How good would he have been on a decent team with a decent QB?

Still currently the greatest white receiver in NFL history, but no longer the greatest ever. However when he retired he might have been seen as the greatest ever. Jerry Rice though came along real quick and made certain who the ultimate wide receiver was.

Probably somewhere from 2-5 on the list, but he is not as good as Jerry Rice.
