'99 SS900 - 10K miles, tons of fun! These bikes have GRUNT and handling all over the competition. Lots of performance mods available, from Ducati and aftermarket, let you make this bike all yours. The riding position is a bit forward, but this IS a sportbike. I do a 50 mile, each way, trip to work and back, no problems, and I'm no spring chicken(44). Long days strafing the backroads of NH with my buddies can get me a little sore, but nothing that would stop me from doing it the next day. Super front brakes, good balance and a general "tight" feel overall. The bike is reliable, responsive and capable of most anythng you can throw at it.

This is one of the world's best bikes. It's quick and smooth with it's suspension. If you have the money, buy it.

Ducati is the fastest bike out now. It has the most power in its class, but it is very rare and expensive. It's a suicide bike because it's hard to control.

This cycle had tremendous speed and versatility. The bike has a way to go in the racing life.

Oh, I wish I had the cash to afford one of these. I've ridden one once and have admired them often. Beautiful, graceful bike. My only complaint is they don't sound too good.

I think this is a perfect example of a sport bike. Ducati is one of the only companies that hasn't made a good bike and then called it a day. They still keep making improvements every year. I love the single sided swing arm that the SS900 comes with.

It has awesome pickup and great handling. I like the way it is balanced- some bikes aren't balanced for me, but I like the Ducati.
