Ah yes, the great media conspiracy... Blaming the media outlets they don't like for Obama's rise in polling numbers allows the die-hard GOPers to ignore the fact that the president that they've loved so long and so hard has the lowest approval ratings of any occupant of that office in fifty years. Ignore the fact that a large number of the "big-tent" coalitiion of voters put together in the Reagan years has steadily eroded, and that erosion has dramatically increased in the last eight years. Ignore the effects of the bi-partisan failings of the Iraq war and the economy. Ignore the fact that McCain has been unable or unwilling to distance himself from Bush, and in fact has welcomed many key aides and strategists from the Bush camp into his staff. Its so much easier to point the finger at the finger at the media. Its a lot more comfortable than looking at what might have gone wrong on your side of the aisle.

LOl. Yeah and the NY Times, LA Times, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, and CNN. Oh, and the Boston Globe.

Simply a BFF of Obama's. During his campaign for the US Senate, the republican candidate Jack Ryan's sealed divorce settlement, in Los Angeles, were miraculously unsealed. The petitioner: The Chicago Tribune and the local Chicago ABC television affiliate. Now, why would an objective newspaper do the campaign dirtywork for a democrat candidate for the US Senate? You get to tell me.
Suffice it to say, its impact was devastating. And final. A new low in American politics. But, it resulted in the triumphant victory of Barry Hussein Obama. Alan Keyes was pressed into running for the seat, at the last moment, to provide somewhat of an alternative. But, the carpetbagger label (which was not effective against Hillary Clinton in NY) was effective against Keyes in IL. This paper should, and probably will, go bankrupt. But, their agenda, which is of the utmost importance, prevailed and we have now a new kind of politician. A fresh, articulate black guy.
