I have the CS-G9990's, and they're great. it's like an 18 inch woofer, great response

I also have another CS series... idk which.

Anyway, my opinion is that they're great speakers. I only have a couple of problems with them:
1. At low volume, not as good treble quality. It gets kind of weak in some of the higher frequencies when it's turned down. I mean, I love shattering my windows, but cranking it up at 2 in the morning is a good way to get shanked by your neighbors.

2. I've had a couple of problems with the mid-range drivers. Maybe this is just because they're old, but i got a buzz in one.. had to take it apart and tape one peice to the other... I know a lot about electronics, but this one confused me - it was an electronically caused buzz i thought, but i just had to tape one of the inputs at a weird angle and it went away. Oh well.

Other than that, i have no problems with these at all. I love the 9990's, i got them for thirty bucks! After having had them for a while, though, i'd pay 200 for them. Great speakers.

Great speakers for your money. Great clear sound and clarity. If you're into speakers and stereos, it's a great buy.
