 | Solenoid DH (20) 02/28/2002 | Having an intelligent dog wearing glasses and owning a pet boy was a nifty idea. But what made the show really good was Clifton Webb, star of "Sitting Pretty," one of the best movies ever.

 | CastleBee (88) 05/15/2001 | This was one of those great "aside" cartoons on the wonderful "Rocky and Bullwinkle Show". I loved Mr. Peabody and his nerdy little sidekick Sherman. The funny part, of course, was that Peabody was actually a dog with a very droll sounding voice and a genius intellect. Whatever the subject Peabody had the answer. Their adventures centered on the "Way Back Machine" a time traveling device invented - of course - by none other than Mr. Peabody himself. I've always been fascinated with the idea of time travel so I was drawn to this one for both the humor and the minor science fiction aspect.
