I have gone through the worst expreience with frigidaire. I cannot believe that in this day and age a company can get away with being so pathetic in customer service, technical support and in the production of their appliances. One month after getting a brand new washing machine which is still under warranty - it stopped working and the customer service of both the manufacturer and the technicians is so bad. They don't speak directly to each other so you have to be the go-between for them to coordinate them getting the spare part and the technician coming to your house to fix the appliance.
They have come to our place over 7 times and still haven't fixed it. They refuse to refund the amount or replace it...they just keep sending more technicians who I think are as useless as the machine is.
I wish I had read these comments online before getting any frigidaire appliance.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Not only does the machine break but you will have to spend months dealing with incompetent customer service, technicians etc. I wish they would just come and take the bloody machine away!!

We have a 6 year old stainless steel dishwasher that went on the fritz. The repair man told us that it needed a new control panel -- an easy enough repair. However, Frigidaire no longer sells the part and has discontinued its manufacture. We could locate no additional parts that would fix the problem from any distributor after a lengthy search. Frigidaire through its parent company Electrolux offered us 20% off a new dishwasher if we bought from that manufacturer. Completely abhorrant that the dishwasher would need a new master control panel after such a short lifespan, and not only that, does not even make replacement parts. We are stuck having to buy an entirely new dishwasher.

We will not buy from Frigidaire or Electrolux (including Gibson, Westinghouse, etc.) again. Bad product, bad customer service.

My Frigidaire dryer was so hot on the outside that it would burn your hand to touch it. I was drying clothes and went to check on them and they were still damp after a full cycle so I put it on again and good thing I checked it after about a half hour because the dryer was so hot I had to unplug and pull away from wall. I already had my house burn down from a dryer fire that was in the beauty salon next door. It burned down the beauty salon and also caught my rental house on fire and burned that beyond repair. My insurance agent said dryers catch on fire often so watch them. I will not trust Frigidaire again.

Frigidaire Gallery Professional Series ceramic cooktop ranges are cheap pieces of junk and ours started burning out elements shortly after a year. After reading other posts we don't expect our other Frigidaire appliances to do much better. We will never buy Frigidaire appliances again and will advise our family and friends to do the same. What a waste of money! Our dealer said he plans to discontinue selling Frigidaire products because of their unacceptable performance.

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE DISHWASER BUT WE BOUGHT THE FRIGIDAIRE GALLERY SERIES WASHER & DRYER IN 2008 AND I HATE THEM, NO I DETEST THEM WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING!!!!
THE WASHER WON'T COMPLETE A FULL CYCLE, THE BLEACH & SOFTNER DISPENSER DOESN'T WORK & FILLS WITH WATER AND DUMPS OUT EVERY TIME ITS OPENED. IT TAKES 3 TRIPS TO THE BASEMENT TO WASH ONE LOAD OF LAUNDRY.
THE DRYER EATS OUR CLOTHING SO NOW I HAVE TO HANG DRY ANYTHING WITH STRAPS. OR IF IT DOESNT EAT THE CLOTHING IT TWISTS IT SO BADLY THAT ITS TRASH. THE HANDLE BROKE OFF AND CAN'T BE FIXED AND IT DOESN'T DRY WORTH A CRAP .
THIS JUST MAKES ME SICK AND THEY DON'T CARE!!!
THE OLD WASHER & DRYER I HAD WERE A HARVEST GOLD COLOR AND VERY OLD, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? THEY WORKED!! SHAME ON ME FOR WANTING "THE LATEST & NEWEST" BECAUSE THEY ARE GARBAGE!!! I WISH I HAD THE MONEY TO REPLACE THEM. I WOULD DUMP THESES 2 OFF ON THE FRONT LAWN OF THE PERSON WHO SOLD THEM TO ME THEN I WOULD GO AND LOOK FOR SOME OLD USED HARVEST GOLD WAHSER & DRYER AND NEVER COMPLAIN AGAIN!!!

I bought a FSC23 Frigidare refrigerator from Lowes 8 months ago. It is JUNK!!! The pile of crap, sitting useless in my kitchen, quit working on a Saturday. I called all over trying to get some help, no one would answer the phone until Monday afternoon. The frige has a display that blinks a some letter to let you know what you need to repair. That's good because I am a pretty handy person. When I looked in the owner's manual to try and decipher what the error code was there is not a single part of the book on how to fix except to call the number that I had been trying for 2 hours Saturday afternoon. Any real company will keep even a small crew just to help you through your trouble, NOT FRIGIDARE. Now my parts to get the frige back working are on back order.

DON'T BUY A FRIGIDARE UNLESS YOU LIKE THING OF PISS-POOR QUALITY sitting around broken in your house.

"Dummy switch!!" Made In CHINA!! Not only did my Gallery Stainless steel fridge stop workign after two years but it turns out the , cold , colder, coldest switch in the freezer isnt' attached to anything and is only a "Dummy Switch"The Gallery Refridgerator is not entirely made in Canada or the USA it is only assembled there. The working parts to this fridge are very poor quality parts from China. I know this because my fridge stopped working after 2 years. There was no service rep in our city so I looked at it myself. Not only are the working parts made in China but there was a patch put on one of the refridgeration lines at the factory. My fridge has been leaking freeon from the day I plugged it in.
After contacting customer service and getting the run around for a week I finally got a hold of one of their managers who promised me a 75% rebate on the fridge approximately 2 months ago. I of course had to buy a new one first. So like a trusting idiot I did and sent them the receipt for the new one and am still waiting for the rebate. Tha was early January and today is March the 17. Iam totally unimpressed with the quality, the customer service and the hoos I had to jump through for nothing. @#@$# you Electrolux and Fridgadaire.

I bought a frigidaire oven model fef336fmc around 2 years ago and it does not cook properly, cooks at a higher temperature in the back of the oven then the front (really noticed the difference when I cooked a turkey this thanksgiving- one half was cooked more!). I also had a tough time cleaning off sugar that boiled over on the stove top that now looks as if it has etched into the top surface and looks horrible. I have never been so displeased in an appliance! I wish I had kept the 10 year old oven over this one, at least I could have cooked a meal properly! I would highly recommend to anyone else not to buy this oven or even brand.

My 3 month old Frigidaire Gallery stove - model CFEF312GS exploded on me last night while I was standing in front of it - there is nothing left to the glass panel on the front of the door - oven had been on for 2hrs at 325 and I had just increased the temperature to 375 and put a tray of buns in and shut the door - moments later the entire door panel shattered all over me, my kitchen floor - lucky for me no one else was in the room, including my dogs & cats who would have been at eye level when the glass exploded - I called Frigidaire and received a most unfriendly customer service person on the phone who simply directed me to an authorized repair person - I will be taking pictures and I will be looking for compensation - Cindy from Ontario Canada

I have a Frigidaire Fridge stove and dishwasher. Bought them all new over 5 years ago and they all work flawlessly still. Thanks Frigidaire.

I bought the Frigidaire ultra quiet stainless steel dishwasher and a matching Frigidaire stainless steel microwave a year ago. The dishwasher is a piece of junk!!! The dishes come out with stuff stuck on them, it takes an hour to run and you have to slam the door to get it to close. The microwave control panel went out on it about a month ago. I paid top dollar for these at an exclusive appliance store. I will never ever buy Frigidaire again!!! I plan on replacing both of these in the very near future!!!

I would never buy a Frigidaire again. We built a new house and bought all new Gallery Series Appliances 4 years ago. So far, the dishwasher seal is leaking/fell apart, the handle fell off the oven and we had to buy a new one, the microwave has quit heating, and the ice dispenser sometimes works. I would NEVER buy a Frigidaire again. The only thing to go yet is the washer and dryer!

I have a Frigidaire gallery self-cleaning stove with convection oven. In the middle of cooking dinner at 350 degrees, the oven suddenly went into cleaning mode and locked the door. My dinner was still cooking. The smoke alarms went off since the high temperature caused the food in the oven to boil over and the house was full of smoke. I couldn't turn the stove off nor open the door so I had to turn the power off to the stove. I'm very disappointed in this product. When I called, they didn't have a clue what to do. There is no technical support line to call. All they recommend is companies in the area who serviced the product. This is a vey sorry company.

Absolute Crap. Bought the washer and dryer three years ago for our new energy-efficient home. Several breaks in the interior plastic baffles of the washer within 6 months. The dryer never has dried properly...I think it got its EnergyStar rating by being engineered to use less electricity by purposely not drying the clothes fully. And the beeper that sounds seven times when the door is opened is really my favorite "feature." Hello, I'm standing right here...signalling me that the door is open is, shall we say, overkill??

The worst washer and dryer we've had in 37 years of buying appliances.

Sucks. We bought dishwasher, refrigerator, wall oven about 3 years ago. Dishasher now reqires a $300 repair so we will replace it with another brand. Refrigerator has been fixed twice for the ice dispenser which will only crush and still will not work. We built a $2,000,000. house and put these in thinking they were high end without going into the really expensive catagory of appliances. Should have bought cheap as I'm replacing anyway.

I have the gallery stove, convection, top of the line, all the bells and whistles. This stove is a piece of junk. I have had it repaired 4 times. The repairman has changed the thermostat and all the electronics each time. the oven doesn't work properly.There is something wrong in the way it cycles. It drops down 25 degrees before it cycles on again. Can't roast anything it is never cooked when it is suppose to be. Don't know what to do. I'm thinking of writing to electolux but I don't think it will do any good.

Just bought the dishwasher and after two wash loads, it broke. We immediately put in a repair call. The repairman supposedly is waiting for the part - it is going on 3 weeks now. I wanted to buy a Maytag since I had great luck with the previous one, but the slaesman at Lieberts Royal Green in White Plains New York heavily pushed this awful piece of junk.

I STARTED TO CALL LOWES, HOME DEPOT AND SEARS. IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEM WITH ANY OF THE ELETROLUX AND FRIGIDAIRE, PLEASE CALL THEM SO THEY CAN FILE ALL THE CLAIMS. THE MORE PEOPLE CALL THEM, THE MORE CLAIMS THEY HAVE THE MORE CHANCE FOR A RECALL. THEY NEED 3% TO BE ABLE TO MAKE A RECALL OF ANY PRODUCTS. ALSO TOO, THIS WILL MAKE FRIGIDAIRE AND ELECTROLUX PAY MORE ATTENTION TO OUR NEEDS. WE GOT TO PUT PRESSURE ON LOWES, HOME DEPOT, SEARS AND BEST BUY NOT TO SELL FRIGIDAIRE AND ELECTROLUX APPLICANCES UNTIL THEY CORRECT ALL THE PROBLEMS. ONE OF THIS DAY SOMEONE WILL GET HURT FROM FRIGIDAIRE'S NEGLECT AND IGNORANCE OF THE PROBLEM.

HATE IT!!! Bought it new a year ago and all it is good for is a drain rack for me to put my hand washed dishes in! Rinsed off semi-clean dishes come out worse than I put them in. Can't wait to buy a different one!

Bought a self cleaning stove for my tenant. The oven door automatically got locked and refuse to open. Stove was only about 2 years old. Call Frigidare service department.The approximate quote they gave me for repair was almost the same price for buying a better quality used stove. No more frigidaire for me.

We had purchased the entire Frigidaire Gallery Series for our latest new home - what a mistake! With the exception of the convection oven, the appliances are mediocare and the washer and dishwasher are terrible. The washing machine doesn't clean well - my clothes never get completely clean using this machine, and the dishwasher -lets just say after the leaks, the dirty dishes and the noise - it is easier and CHEAPER to wash by hand! Save yourself money and headaches and buy another brand.

I bought an over the range microwave Oct 07 and here by July the handle has broken 3 times. It has been repaired 2 times. I requested a better handle or a different unit the second time around, but the repair guy said he couldn't do anything about it. Now I just got done talking to sears Rapid Resolution department who stated "the technician is the only one who has the authorization to request a replacement unit, but it has to go through 3 investigations before its authorized." So I clarified for her "he has to initiate a request but cannot authorize it." This was only after I mentioned the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. I'm mad at sears and electrolux (not capitalized purposely). frigidaire GLMV169DBD

My dishwasher just died 6 months old .I smelt something hot the in mid cycle it died.No power or anything.Has this happened to anyone else?

Hello again folks!  An update to my previous post.  So, my husband and I had been out shopping for a new dishwasher, came home and the power had gone out and came back on.  Guess what?!  My dishwasher (which the Sears repair guy said had a burnt out panel) is miraculously working!  He said he tested it and it was getting power, but had no other explanation to why it wasn't working, except that it had a burnt out control panel.  Well, thank you Florida Power and Light...you just saved me $500!  Now I've got to call Sears and holler. 

However, I still stand by the fact that this Frigidaire dishwasher runs forever and is loud.  We have an open floor plan in our house and have to crank up the TV to hear it over the dishwasher....

DISHWASHER!!!JUNK!!! Bought dishwasher and 6 mo later control panel went out(under warranty). Guess what--- 6 months later--- control panel out again. I am only 4 days out of warranty. I spent $500 for this dishwasher and I should of just bent over....

We bought refrigerator, range, dishwasher and microwave.

NOT HAPPY, never again.

The cheap plastic on the over the range microwave cracked and fell apart. We cannot use the microwave and Frigidaire will not tell us if it is safe and would not replace days after warranty expired. Sorry, an "over the range" microwave should work for more than one year.

Refrigerator makes a loud "Crack" as it opens. Microwave was noisy. No problems with range or dishwasher.

I would buy again based on bad products if customer service made any attempt to make it right. Instead they were difficult to get to and quick to deflect blame and point out parts I could buy, days after warranty expired.

Don't buy it. Spend a few more bucks and get something decent, or spend less and get something better.

Tiny complaint... the LED displays on refrig, microwave and dishwasher are all different colors. It is a minor point, but clearly shows Frigidaire's lack of interest in detail. If they don't get the clocks to match how can you expect the 'over range' microwave to survive stovetop heat?

Dishwasher is junk at only 3 years old. Will not clean and leaves a white film all over the dishes. Never will by another one of their products

This over the counter microwave is a nice, full-featured, fairly expensive unit.
However, the cheap plastic handle broke shortly after the warranty expired, and then it broke AGAIN one year after that.
The unit hasn't been abused, nor even heavily used. It is just poorly designed.
However, Electrolux has been contacted and they refuse to help or admit that there is a design problem.
I'll never buy another frigidaire appliance again.

Our dishwasher is the ultra quiet 111...actually it's the noisiest ever!Nice looking in stainless,but doesn't work very well.The microwave also looks nice,but makes a noise after being on for 2 1/2 minutes .Sounds like a grinding/rubbing noise,but the repair guy said it is because popcorn is dry(?)...the noise happens whenever it is on for more than 2 minutes!Again,I would never buy their products!

No complaints. Holds a lot of stuff, dishes get pretty clean. The trays seemed pretty well layed out, and there's some collapsible rails in there so that you can fit in big pots and things.

Have had this Dishwasher for 5 years...never cleaned all that well- and was only super quiet for the first year. ( though it does look nice in the stainless steel) Right after the warrenty ran out ( 3 years) It would just suddenly stop working then start again after a week or a month. It always started again, so just let it go. It has happened more and more so called Sears to fix... Found out that the circit board is bad....a 350.00 repair! Never again!

We have replaced every drawer on our refrigerator, brittle plastic, the first drawer broke within 6-months. We were never able to get a replacement. Very bad customer service they don't stand by their product when things go wrong. We bought a matching fridge, stove and dishwasher, we experienced the same quality in all 3 pieces.

Some of the best pricing available in stainless steel appliances and whisper quiet. We've been very pleased.

Give it time and watch it fall apart, usually as soon as the warranty ends. My unit just turned 3 years and 3 months and the motor failed!! So much for purchasing a high end product. What a joke!!!

I love my dishwasher. It cleans chili off of pots like a dog licking a bowl of slop clean. I recommend this dishwasher to anyone!

Love are new frigidaire dishwasher. Leaves dishes sparkling. Has a lot of features but I tend to just use the normal wash cycle with high temp wash. Looks real nice in the stainless steel. I would buy it again!
