 | magician (0) 09/28/2004 | Our Amana Refrigerator is 4 years old. It is fine mechanically but though it is in a dry environment, the finish is rusting. Amana customer support refuses to assist us or to acknowledge that this is a manufacturing defect. Even cars have rust guarantees for 5-7 years. I do not recommend purchasing their products as they take no respopnsibility for problems.

 | Shafty (2) 06/13/2000 | This is the type of refidgerator that I have in my apartment and I am extremely pleased with it. The only down side is that I broke the bar on the door that holds all of your condiments and sauces and stuff and now I cannot find a replacement. Don't break that bar if you do not have to. I have had no problems with this appliance (knock on wood). It keeps things really cold - that is how I like it and there does not seem to be a big drain on the electric bill from it.

 | upchuck (0) 06/13/2000 | All Amana appliances are the best, top of the line...the manufacturing plant is state-of-the-art and they don't cut cost when it comes to quality...
