Chrysler Town & Country 3

the town and country is horrible in the bad weather. i once was standing on the side of the road in the icy snow while my car broke down. also, the TV is distracting when i'm driving because when i look back, it's in the way. also to the TV is you have to reset the entire TV with the remote after you put in a CD or DVD. the back back seats are great for tired kids because they tilt back but sometimes they get stuck. i would reccomend this car only to very careful and good drivers.

Horrible electrical problems- usually the windows, tail lights, and the windshield wipers.

The Stow and go feature is great but the GPS is controlled by a knob which is bad.

The Town and Country will always be the standard by which all minivans are based. Chrysler has 4 different minivans; Caravan, Grand Caravan, Voyager, and Town and Country. The Town and Country (TC) is the luxury version of the group. All of them have had good reliability and should be smart buys. Sales have dropped drastically, however, due to the SUV craze. Most people today think that $40k is too much for a van.

I will be getting my 2003 Town & Country this week. This is my 3rd one and I cannont think of a better vehicle in town or on long trips. We take 4 or 5 trips from Georgia to Mass every year and the Chrysler handles well and does not leave me tired after 8 hours of driving. The LXI is great for hauling stuff and I am also able to pull my pontoon boat on weekends to the lift. While I have no negative comments, I would like to see nicer leather seats and a few more interior things like floor storage, etc. BTW the back can haul a 4X8 whatever flat !

This vehicle is the best I could find. After exhaustive research I selected this vehicle over Ford and Honda. Interior space larger then all others. Five doors, Leather heated seats (easier to clean then cloth if you have kids), many seat conversion possibilities, superior sound system, more power then needed even when fully loaded (carried 5 adults and 3 kids). Only had to add a VCR/TV system for long trips with kids. Dealer service and small recalls taken care of timely. Cost to run i.e. mileage at about 21 mpg. Good. Vehicle handles highway driving confidently city driving first-class as well. Driving through the mountains is a drivers pleasure. Exceeds visibility standards and offers countless seat adjustments. I plan on having this vehicle for 5+ years and I can't imagine needing anything more then I got. Expect to enjoy for many years to come.

We have driven a Town & Country since last February. It is the most comfortable, most reliable vehicle we have ever owned. The warming seats are a joy in winter. It has ample power and acceleration. We enjoy the vehicle very much.

Typical Chrysler electrical problems. Power window motors were replaced. Interier lights don't always come on. Other intermitent electrical problems.
