 | suebns (0) 03/26/2006 | f anyone is considering buying a used Legacy I did 1 1/2 years ago. A 1995 with 78K. 5spd. It now has almost 100k and is an mazing vehicle... no maintainence except tires, brakes, struts and oil changes. it's a CO car so no rust at all and I use it every day. Totally dependable. Oh yes, one problem. The rear view mirror was loose so I tightened the screw. :)

 | Zimbabwe (0) 11/02/2000 | The Subaru is a fine vehicle, but doesn't offer the room of a mini-van. You have to decide which is more important-- 4 wheel drive, or cargo and seating capacity.

 | upchuck (0) 09/14/2000 | The all-wheel drive is certainly a nice feature, is fairly roomy and responsive, decent gas mileage, But...Suburu has a tendancy to rust out much faster than cars of equal price...not sure if it is an inferior metal or paint job, but if you live where there is snow and ice and Salt and plan to keep your vehicle for several years, you might want to consider an alternative.

 | jskw2876om (0) 12/10/1999 | We've had ours for 5 years and 48,000 miles. Other than changing oil and filters, we've replaced only one engine sensor at no cost. WOW!!

 | kath2865om (0) 12/10/1999 | I bought my Outback in the summer of 98 and I love it as much now in December of 99 as I did the day I picked it up. I have owned many cars and the only other car that came close to that was a 91 Infiniti Q45.

 | dhau2068et (0) 12/02/1999 | The Subaru Legacy Outback is the thinking man's alternative to an SUV. It combines the safety of 4 wheel drive with the gas mileage of a car. Add to that terrific cargo space and driveability, and I will be a Subaru driver for years to come.

 | Fena1640om (0) 11/27/1999 | This a great car for the family or the sports enthusiast or anyone. Larger than most station wagons, it can carry more than the Ford Escort and gets great gas mileage. Of course the all-wheel drive doesn't hurt either. Kind of a funny clutch, but OK once you get used to it.
