 | Damifino (0) 09/29/2005 | I recently purchased a 1999 3.2TL. Amazing amount of car for the money. For only a fraction more than an Accord of the same period, you can get a loaded entry-level luxury car in the 3.2TL. The 225hp engine delivers fantastic acceleration, and the Sport Shifter offers the performance and *most* of the fun of a manual transmission (my only partial gripe is that a manual was not offered on the 3.2TL back in 1999). Very quiet on the highway, and the leather and tastefully-done wood grain on the dash and door inserts let you know that you're truly driving a well-made luxury car. A Bose sound system is standard, and navigation system is optional. All of this, plus Honda's famous quality and reliability, make for a well-rounded blend of performance and luxury that won't break your budget.

 | BIGBABY (10) 09/14/2003 | Although I am not a fan of imports and would never buy any of them, I do rate them fairly on RIA. The TL is a luxury sport sedan. Pricing starts around $30k. Two V-6's are offered, one with 225hp, the other with 260hp. Other choices include Audi A4, Lexus ES300, and Infiniti I30. Overall, the TL is smart, reliable choice that blends luxury with sport.

 | Shroomwoman (12) 12/16/2001 | The Acura TL is a fast, taut-handling, comfortable sports sedan. It has a very strong, sophisticated engine and suspension that offers a fine balance between precise handling and a comfortable ride. The car has a relatively spacious interior filled with numerous standard features, including heated seats, vents in the back seat, a sun roof, a six-CD Bose stereo system, and audio controls in the steering wheel. I recommend the Type S over the standard TL for its superior performance.

 | cedric_sd (0) 08/12/2001 | I just bought the 2002 TL Type-S, an upgrade from a 97 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (GTP), and so far it has been more fun to drive it. It has 260HP and a Sports Shifter that allows you to manually shift the gears. It handels and takes corners much better than the GTP did. I do miss the heads-up-display and multi-function information panel but the quality, fit and finish of the TL severly outweights the lack of those items. I payed about $6,000 more than the GTP ($32,000) and I feel it was the best near-luxory car for the money. I drove 4 others, Lexus, Infinity, Nissan and Mercedez and dollar for dollar none of the others could match the TL-S! Granted, if I could afford more than $35,000 on a car, I would be driving the top of the line SLK. The one gripe I do have is the doors get dinged quite easily.

 | GT011470DU (0) 11/23/1999 | The Acura 3.2 TL is one of the best looking cars on the road; the fact that it is well made and has a powerful V-6 doesn't hurt it either.
