So, the connection between Obama and Louie Wolcott is that they live in the same general area of Chicago? Well, I live in the same neighborhood as Rick Burns, Gilbert Gottfried, Liz Smith and Michael Musto, yet I'm not acquaintances, much less friends of any of these people. Talk about grasping at straws!!! Talk about the delusional tendency of rightwingers of be absolutely certain of things that just don't exist!!!

Despite my skepticism of all things Obama, on average the friend of my friend is some jackass I probably haven't met...

Maybe I'm missing something or there is something that hasn't been brought to light yet, but it seems to me the association between these two is that they lived in the same general area and Farrakhan supports Obama. Ayers and Rezko are different, those are very disturbing connections that some people are desperately trying to write off as nothing. As for Farrakhan, to be blunt, is it really a shock that he is supporting the black guy who is a Liberal Democrat?

Update: I took out the Farrakhan quote, it seemed to distract from the the questions I posed. CS seems to think we can't have this discussion without including McCain's associations/friends, maybe he's right about that, idono. I saw no proof of what he contends about McCain in his comments. All I'm asking is leave the lobbyist out, thats a wash. Original: Forget associations for a moment, Bill Ayers was a radical Left Wing domestic terrorist? Hamas is a terrorist organization? Frank Marshall Davis is a communist. Louis Farrakhan? I think we all know the deal with him. My question to all Obama fans at this site is; Why? Looking at this thread, all I see from the people on the Left are dismissive jokes. Thats all you guys have?? Why do these despicable individuals support Obama? Even the few reviewers whose I opinions I value don't have a good answer, some don't post on it at all.

When lmo suggested this line item I thought about rejecting it for the list because nothing incites hatred on the left like an attack on one of these people whom they tolerate when his hatred helps their cause, but they don't want to have to answer for the relationship with him. Then I looked up the dem debates and Russert pinned him down on this relationship and he wriggled out of it, then Hillary (the well-known conservative hate monger) REALLY pinned him down. That is when he said "denounce and reject. "
If, as mag eloquently states, Sarah Palin should be nowhere near the presidency, due to her inexperience, even though Obama has less, Obama should be nowhere near the presidency because of the ideology, which he has been steeped in, his wife is a product of, and all his friends believe but are currently, conveniently silent about, which will surround every decision he will have to make as president. Welcome to the new century, America, and all hail your new kind of leader.

Incidentally [sic] Louis Farrakhan's mansion is just a few blocks from Barack Obama's house. I am sure it's just a coincidence that Farrakhan supports Obama.

Farrakhan was given a lifetime achievement award by Obama's church- the same racist church he attended for more than 20 years. Pure coincidence.

This list has officially graduated from making leaps in logic to just plain making things up.
