diamondback outlook 05 is much better for the price.

This is one of a few bikes that you can buy off the bike rack and race the next day. Outstanding warranty! Hard to find tech service, but once you do, you should be set for a long time. A quick, stiff ride that climbs like a goat. Great x-country steed!

First of all, you can't go wrong with the Cannondale bicycle company. The F series is their regular line aluminum fram bikes, which are extremely light and stable. Make sure the frame is fully (not spot) welded, but I'm sure most of them are.

Totally awesome bike! It is heavy duty and reliable. I've had one for about 3 years and never had any major problems.

THE F SERIES OF CANNONDALE IS VERY WELL ENGINEERED AND CONSTRUCTED. THE WEIGHT IS AMAZING WHEN YOU COMPARE IT TO MOST SERIES FROM OTHER MAJOR MANUFACTURERS. THE LOWER END WILL ALLOW ANY ONE TO GET INTO MOUTAIN BIKING AND EXPERIENCE IT LIKE THE "PRO". THE UPPER END DOES KINDA GOES OFF INTO THE STATOSPHERE IN REGARD OF PRICE AND I HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN SOMEONE ON THE F500. GUESS I JUST CAN'T SEE THEM SINCE THEY PROBABLY FLY BY! HAVE FUN AND ALWAYS BE SAFE.
