It is my first "adult" bike and it has made me love cycling. It's changed my life! I've commuted on my Sorrento for a year and a half and have thousands of miles on it. I love it. I hope to eventually upgrade to a touring bike, something like a Cannondale T800 or maybe the Trek 520, but for now and for the near future I am very satisfied with my Sorrento. Over time I have made changes to it to make it more of a commuting bike. I added 26x1.5 slick tires for city use. I added a rear rack. I swapped out the suspension fork for a cro-moly fork. Added bar-ends for more comfortable hand positions. Added fenders. Finally changed the crankset and pedals. Obviously if you have the money, it would be better to start with something better, and for city riding I would look into a flat-bar roadbike (there are nice models from Giant, Trek, Jamis, Specialized, etc), but for someone who isn't rich, this is a great way to start into bicycling (mine was 280 new), and you can do as I have done and gradually upgrade it and change it to suit your needs. I make grocery trips all the time on this bike, carrying heavy loads. I cruise many miles around the city, regularly. It's a tough and reliable bike. Mine has needed only the basic maintenance you would expect with any bike.

Good bike for the money. Cheap parts but adequate where it counts. I'm slowly upgrading components but it's still a pretty heavy load. I carry this bike up stairs but still no hernia yet. I recommend this bike over Toys R Us anyday.

Great mountain bike for beginners. Durable and comfortable. Great performance for the cost.

This bike offers a lot of features for a very low price. Perfect for an everyday ride. However, the frame is a little heavy, and the components are a little cheaper than they should be.

This bike is actually not mine, but I would definitely consider getting one of my own. It belongs to my brother whom rides as a hobby. He loves it and has had no trouble with it.

I've had a Diamondback a couple of years ago. It was really good, but since I didn't use it very often, I gave it to my sisters boyfriend. He said it was really good and its been great going mountain biking with his friends.

lightweight, smooth ride, and a comfortable standard seat. But, there is too much petal resistence, the gears tend to slip, and the break allignment is easily disturbed.

Not really a mountain bike. Made for around town use. Can fall apart when taken off road. Ride at your own risk!

It is only good for riding around town. It isn't good for real mountain biking. Poor craftsmanship.

This bike is durable and easy to use. The seat is easily adjustable. They have a great variety of colors, and it's easy to maintain.

A good commuter bike. This bike is strong without being too heavy. The components are adequate and servicable. Good for students communting across town.
