I HAVE OWNED A M-400 SINCE 1998 I HAVE FOUND THIS TO BE A GREAT BIKE !!! I GOT A GOOD PRICE ON CLOSEOUT IT HAD A GREAT WELL BALANCED SHIMANO PACKAGE WITH A FEW SIZE MODS A NEW STEM AND A UPGRADED FORK SUBTRACT ABOUT A POUND IT HAS A RESPECTABLE WEIGHT AND HANDLES SINGLE TRACK LIKE A CHAMP RALEIGH DOES A GOOD JOB LEAVING EASILY UPGRADEABLE THINGS OFF SO YOU CAN RIDE WHILE YOU BUILD CAN'T GO WRONG HERE LOOK AT THE NEW M-80 RIDE IT YOU'LL LIKE IT THANKS

These are bikes but are overpriced. I own one and it is very dependable. They are not too innovative with upgrading their accesories.

Raleigh is a cheap one, and too heavy. The price relative to quality is okay. The frame breaks too fast when you ride downhill.

Value-priced bike line, so you won't be paying extra money for the Raleigh name. Solid bikes with Shimano components. M-80's and up are trail worthy.
