Fantastic stuff. I am not a zealot about grain free diets, but DO feel that they have merit... and EVO is one of the absolute top brands of the grain free ranks.

Evo is probably the best thing you can feed your cat besides a raw diet. It's human-grade and mimics the cats natural diet by not using fillers and grains like conventional cat food brands. It's healthy and my cat loves it!

After losing my beloved 12 year old male cat in August of 2008, I had to know why his health had deteriorated so badly. He had been diagnosed with FUS in 2004 and was subsequently put on Royal Canin Urinary SO. His health declined slowly and I could not figure out why. He went into renal failure 8/24/08 and into irreversible coma, I had to make the heart-wrenching decision to have him put to sleep the next day. After researching everything I thought could have caused him to pass away so suddenly..I thought perhaps he had been poisoned or had an underlying condition previously undiagnosed. That is when I started to read about the ingredients that go into mainstream pet foods. His symptoms matched the symptoms of other pets that had gone the way he had..their respective owners had learned too late the dangers of the toxins, fillers and questionable additives in the seemingly unregulated pet food industry.
Right away, I began searching for a healthy food for my 4 other cats. I had heard the benefits of a raw diet, but the price was frightening, especially on the heels of a $2500 vet bill for the cat I was unable to save.
I happened across the Natura/Evo site by chance and decided to give it a try. Boy, am I glad I did. All 4 cats, plus both dogs went on Evo and the difference is phenomenal. I noticed within the first week how perky they all became..full of energy and happy. Within the first few weeks of trial, their fur grew back in, their eyes got brighter, their bowel movements became normal. It was the most amazing transition I have ever witnessed. It has been 4 full months since they have been on Evo, and I couldn't be happier. One of my cats, who was neurologically damaged following a reaction to a bad vaccine batch, suddenly began responding to me again! She now acts almost entirely like a normal cat and even uses the kitty-box religiously! Some may call me crazy..but this cat has been damaged since she was just a kitten..the difference is so obvious that my friends even notice! Before, she used to just sit and stare at the wall and never responded to her name, and yowled like she was in pain when she was touched. Now, she eats voraciously, comes when called, and actually demands love and attention. Thank you, Evo!

Ingredients: Turkey, chicken meal, chicken, herring meal, chicken fat, potatoes, egg, turkey meal, natural flavors, vitamins, apples, potassium chloride, carrots, cranberries, alfalfa sprouts, minerals, tomatoes, herring oil, cottage cheese, ascorbic acid, dried chicory root extract, direct-fed microbials, vitamin E supplement, taurine, DL methionine, lecithin, rosemary extract.

Cats love the stuff, and it's easy to see why.  The first 4 ingredients are named meat products, and so is the 8th.  You have potatoes for carbs and egg as yet another protein source.  In fact, the protein percentage in this food stands at 50%, which is among the very highest you'll find anywhere.

Like any high-quality food, veggies and fruits like cranberries, tomatoes and apples are thrown in as well.  It's these types of ingredients which often differentiate between bargain food and good food. 

Also notice the herring oil, which like any fish oil, is an excellent fatty acid and source of Omega fatty acids.  Taurine is present, as any good cat food needs to have taurine to prevent blindness.  Oh, and cottage cheese.  This is the only food I've seen with that in the ingredient list.  Nice!

It's expensive, but this is one product I do think is worth the price tag.
