Fernando Henrique Cardoso is screwing Brazil up! I know it, because I live here.

Cardoso is trying to reform the system of government in Brazil and encouraging private investment in the country. He is also trying to preserve the rain forests in the Amazon Basin. It's a long road because, like most Latin American Nations, Brazil's bureaucracy is way too big, but it's changing.

Under the current circumstances. FHC is doing a great job.

I don't think any politician has done a better job in tougher circumstances than Cardoso in recent years.

He is a nice guy,but unemployment had never reached such a higher rate as in his government.

I am a big fan of this guy. He doesn't seem to be afraid to make the tough decisions. Taking on the bureaucracy in Brazil, cutting into the ridiculous entitlement mentality of the civil service, letting the Real float. This guy has balls, and seems to be on time of the economy as well.
