Al Gore couldn't possibly have been any worse than the administration we've already had for the past eight years.

Left wing nut.

It's a shame Bush Jr. got 8 years in the white house instead of Gore. He probably would've rid us of our fuel dependancy and had us driving 50 mpg cars.
Chalky Studebaker 09/10/2008
Al Gore is a loser who lost in an election he could've won. He's pretty much a punk. As far as this global warming stuff goes, why didn't he make an issue of it when he was in Clinton's Administration. He takes private planes to give speeches on the enviromnet. gosh

UPDATE: "Given that Al Gore has no job, he decided to take a sightseeing Vacation to Europe. While visiting Europe, he is invited to tea with the Queen. He asks her what her leadership philosophy is. She says that it is tosurround herself with intelligent people. He asks how she knows if they're intelligent. "I do so by asking them the right questions," says the Queen. "Allow me to demonstrate." She phones Tony Blair and says, "Mr. Prime Minister, please answer this question: Your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this child is not your brother or sister. Who is it? Tony Blair responds, "It's me, ma'am." "Correct. Thank you and goodbye, sir," says the Queen. She hangs up and says, "Did you get that, Mr. Gore?" "Yes ma'am. Thanks a lot. I'll definitely be using that!" Upon returning home, he decides he'd better put some of his old Friends to the test. He calls Bill Clinton and says, "Hi, Bill, I wonder if You can answer a question for me." "Why, of course, Al. What's on your mind?" "Uhh, your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this child is not your brother or sister. Who is it?" Clinton hems and haws and finally asks, "Can I think about it and Get back to you?" Gore agrees and Clinton hangs up. Clinton immediately calls members of his old staff, and they puzzle Over the question for several hours, but nobody can come up with an answer. Finally, in desperation, Clinton calls Colin Powell at the State Department and explains his problem. "Now look here, your mother has a child, And your father has a child, and this child is not your brother or sister. Who is it?" Powell answers immediately, "It's me, of course, you idiot." Much relieved, Clinton rushes back to call Gore and exclaims. "I Know the answer Al! I know who it is! It's Colin Powell!! And Gore replies in disgust, "Wrong, it's Tony Blair." ORIGINAL MESSAGE: Hopefully the Democrats will pick a better candidate than they have the last two elections. Al Gore was a poor choice. Kerry was a poor choice. If they dont then the Republicans will win again. I will vote for the best candidate regardless of their party.

He didn't even carry his own state when he ran for president - what a dork. And let's not forget Tipper trying to take away our rock and roll as children. Bitch made it to where I couldn't buy the Purple Rain Album
Rock1234 07/09/2008
He is not very exciting but he is committed to the enviornment and other things. I give him credit for trying to make a difference.

Half of the developing world is starving because of this mans ethynol hype. His global warming rants were well intentioned. He showed these natives on islands saying they would die because their island would melt and now they have no food because his investments in ethynol are drying up the world food stocks. I only gave him a 2 because I think he had good intentions. Maybe.

What a joke! He is considered a slum lord in TN and lost his own state...
twansalem 03/12/2008
Al Gore was once seen as a serious politician. Now it seems like he has been reduced to little more than the butt of jokes about global warming.
Humorbot 03/06/2008
Oh c'mon, Al Gore knows where it's at!
Wiseguy 03/06/2008
It would take too much co2 to comment on him.

No one in TN recognizes the man anymore. He ran for Congress as a pro-life, pro-gun, pro-military, pro-fiscal conservative whose claim to fame was his daddy. When he ran for Pres he discovered that outside the South his views were out of step with the Left wing that controls the primaries. (Odd that the most radical wing of each party controls the very process that leads to nomination.) He's always managed to finesse his resume with his good looks and media savvy: Vanderbilt (horrible grades), military (so-so), Congressman (much ado about nothing), Senator (lackluster), VP (after the REAL VP - HRC (lol) and Pres candidate (a new Al each day). Now he's graduated to elder stateman, dilletante, mansion owner. Will the real Al Gore please stand up?
TeresaG 10/31/2007
Unfortunately for Mr. Gore ~ he IS an INCONVIENT TRUTH!!! If there were no stars, I would give them to him!!!!!!!!!

Ok, enough is enough Al. You were a mediocre veep, but that's no great sin, most are. The job doesn't usually get the best and the brightest. You are a wooden and uncharismatic politician, but thats ok too. Guys like you kept guys like me employed for a long time. Your wife Tipper is a prudish, ignorant and ambiguous hag, but that's alright too. You just married her pal, you're not responsible for everything she does or says. You ran a pretty crappy presidential campaign, but hey, you're not the first or the worst to do that, and you damn sure won't be the last. You decided you're an environmentalist, and you produced a movie on global warming, which is making you a wad of cash (to go with the several wads you already had) despite the fact your personal carbon footprint is the size of Tampa. But again, I'm ok with that, Al, everyone is free to grab their share of the cash floating around, and hypocrisy is in the eye of the beholder. But this latest schtick, Al, that's gotta stop. You see Al, I'm a Canadian, and when you come up here and start crapping all over the government of this sovereign nation (a government, I will admit to you Al, that I profoundly dislike and distrust) for not signing the Kyoto Accord and for what you perceive as the total and complete fraud of their new climate policy, well, you're way out of line. This is more than a little much Al. After all, you're the guy, who when you were VP under Clinton, conspired to keep your own sovereign nation out of the same Kyoto accord. Now, according to you Al, this same accord you were instrumental in killing in your own country is all that's standing between the planet and oblivion. But you're not trying to get it implemented in your own country. Just in mine. So this says to me, Al, that you're just another of those ugly imperialist bully Americans that all too many Canadians come to generalize about. Go home and put your own house in order Al. We can screw things up on our own just fine, thanks.

A hypocrite from his 100,000 dollar utility bills and his private jets rides all over the world to his supposed opposition to the Iraq War from day one.

Winston Churchill said when he was asked what qualities a politician requires: “The ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month and next year, and to have the ability afterwards to explain why it didn't happen.”

I love Al Gore. I don't need Comedy Central while he's around. (I just wish that he believed enough in his Warming views to debate someone on stage. As it is, he shys away from any real discussion.
madmarko 05/09/2007
May mean well. BUT he should stick to politics and not try to be a futuristic weather man. Note from earth: I feel fine.....
johncook 04/14/2007
Gore should be commended if only for raising awareness on global warming. After seeing An Inconvenient Truth, I researched both sides of the argument and was dismayed to find all the disinformation and smoke blown by global warming skeptics. It angers me that people are still arguing about whether global warming is man made or not when the scientific consensus is clearly decided - our politicians should be focusing on solutions rather than haggling over what is already clear.
rok100 03/21/2007
If there was even one book in the bible that predicted events with ONE-TENTH the well-documented and startling degree of accuracy of Senator Al Gore, the Reverends Jerry Fallwell and Pat Robertson would be preaching that gospel instead of selling VHS "Clinton Body Count" GOP Propaganda videotapes and "Skinny Jesus" Weight Loss milkshakes. The Republican BIG LIE machine is getting very old and the sound is becoming annoying. If the "conservatives" aren't LYING, then they're dead silent. If their lips are moving, you just have to ASSUME that they're not under oath. NO ONE in their right mind EVER expects a Republican to speak under oath.
On the other hand, Al Gore certainly has no problem raising that hand and taking that oath.
Just shows to go ya'!
Conservatism 03/19/2007
I don't really know much about him or maybe there just is not a lot about him. He never impressed as vice president or as the presidential candidate for 2000. He seemd to concerned with the environment.
GenghisTheHun 03/12/2007
ZZzzzz! I think Al Gore did a great job inventing Global Warming. "What's that you say Martha?" "Never mind, I'll go back to sleep."
95bravo 03/11/2007
Al Gore invented global warming. He also invented the internet (his quote). Most of the global warming these days is caused from all of the hot air that is coming out of him. PROOF: All of the glaciers in Tennesee have melted. He is making up for all of this by purchasing carbon offsets from himself. He also needs to purchase gravity offsets to counter the effect of his fat ass on the planet.
RIAUSA 02/25/2007
Al Gore is awsome. He knows what's best for the nation. His movie was awsome. Sorry anti- Clinton/Gore people, those eight years where eight succsessful years.

Well, I normally like the Republicans, but Gore deserved to win during his run! He rocks!

At least he respects the environment. I will support a candidate who has his/hers priorities straight. And besides, he was robbed in 2000! He should have been president, who knows, if he had been president instead of moron Bush maybe 911 would have never happened. Vote for Al Gore 2008!

Very intelligent politician, a marginal (C) student (George W. Bush had a higher cumulative average) at Yale, who "cares" about one thing (like most politicians): his own political stature and advancement. He has become a caricature of what is wrong with the Democrat Party. Now, he decries the "subverting of the Constitution" perpetrated by the Bush Administration, when Jamie Gorelick, assistant Attorney General to Janet Reno, has testified to and defended the fact that the same liberties and authorities were taken by the Clinton Administration, in the name of national security, that Congress had authorized such, even prior to 9/11/01.
sfalconer 07/23/2005
How did this guy ever get elected to any public office. Try reading one of his books they are a little strange. I don't care what show he appears on he still needs a personality.
GOPmember76 07/23/2005
Think coming so close in 2000 made him lose it.

Algore- A politician that makes Dan Quayle look like a Mensa candidate. Here are just a few memorable quips (courtesy of Algorisms): What a waste it is to lose one's mind. Or not to have a mind is being very wasteful. How true that is. -- Vice President Al Gore I stand by all the misstatements that I've made. -- Vice President Al Gore to Sam Donaldsson, 8/17/93 We're going to have the best-educated American people in the world. -- Vice President Al Gore, 9/21/97 The future will be better tomorrow. -- Vice President Al Gore [It's] time for the human race to enter the solar system. -- Vice President Al Gore I was recently on a tour of Latin America, and the only regret I have was that I didn't study Latin harder in school so I could converse with those people. -- Vice President Al Gore The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation's history. I mean in this century's history. But we all lived in this century. I didn't live in this century. -- Vice President Al Gore, 9/15/95 We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur. -- Vice President Al Gore, 9/22/97

A true leader in the technology sector and the environment and an expert on world diplomacy. Plus, oh yeah -- he can put a sentence together all on his own without sounding like a doofus. He'll have my vote in 2008 if he sees fit to run.
me120585 01/16/2005
I wasn't old enough to vote in 2000, but I woulda voted for him. That being said, I give him 1 star because he tried to steal the election Bush won fair and square. Electoral College is part of our Constitution, but Gore wanted us to ignore that in favor of the popular vote. Plus, Bush never would have carried on the way Gore did if he won the pop. vote and lost EC. Don't believe me? Look it up! Ann Coulter's book mentions a newspaper that ran an article saying Bush would concede if he won the pop. vote and lost EC. This was what people were expecting to happen in the weeks before the election.
